We all know Anatti started rapping in isixhosa restyle like 2 years back..... Yanga Chief, Kid Tini, Driemankaap,Khanyi Mavi and Ifani they have been dropping bars in Isixhosa for years 🐐🔥
Popstar is really a therapeutic album! It was my best project of 2020 no cap! Looking forward to this journey ahead with Yanga Chief (Never leave the Chief)
Honestly speaking,I was never a Yanga Chief fan but A true Anatii fan since "iYeza".My point is it's not Yanga's music that got to me but his story and standing up for what he believes in Now I'm a true fan.hope one day when I Pop up like a star The Chief will still be around 🖤
Pop Star is such a beautiful body of work🙏❤ Thank you Yanga for such an offering especially during these difficult times with regards to music identity for many of our artists
Only one thing you need to understand bro I was bumping to dreamskap years before yanga chief and people doesn’t understand that there is music called spazza where dreaman is rooted
Even way back before Driemanskaap Spaza existed. I remember the likes of Phizo, Simbone, Rattex, MaXhoseni, nabanye contributed a lot in putting Xhosa Rap “Spaza” in the map. I think they also should be given their flowers 💐 Xhosa rap isn’t a new thing.
Popping champagne shouldn’t be a lifestyle for Afrikans there’s so much that we still need to do for each other as black people that we shouldn’t even be partaking in such a lifestyle #myopinion
