Once I tried to open my HDD to see how it works and whats inside...I ended up screwing the drive, whole 512gb data got erased and the disk got exposed to light.....DONT EVER TRY TO OPEN A HDD OF YOUR COMPUTER.. YOU'LL REPENT LATER
HDDs are better than SSDs because you can diagnose hardware problems by how they sound; like a car, except MUCH easier because literally anything different means a head crash & all of your data is gone. Very convenient to have the problem handed to you like that so you can just order a new drive immediately & wait four days for it to arrive in the mail instead of opening it up, looking for burnt out components, sending it to some data recovery place, waiting for it to come back on a new drive, finding an adapter for the drive, troubleshooting to find why it isn't turning on, installing drivers, opening Device Manager & giving the drive a letter, & copying your data, taking a whole month.

@@yako0006 That's not actually true except in the case of newer "SMR" drives, which may or may not be used in servers. High capacity drives really do just add more platters and heads.
