Why doesnt he talk about his own mistakes as a form of a testimony? Like ive been a partner for a long time before I had to stop for finacial reSins. When he went through what he did in 2020 i had something happen too. I lived through divorce had multiple mistakes of myself but my journey back included being honest not just about the betrayal of other people but my own roles in it and I was wrong so many times. The sin from my own burnout pushed me into darkness for almost 3 years. The power of testimony saves too. I heard the audio he mentioned. Lord knows I prayed for Perry. I love that man. I dont know exactly what happened. Or what was true or what wasnt but I do know being honest about our own mistakes no matter how famous one is allows others to see all aspects. Its easier for me not to tell others the role I played in my marriage breaking down. I coukd give a list of how my ex husband didnt know me. Wasnt a leader spiritually and didnt believe in my spiritual attacks. But I also have to own jn my darkest loneliest hour i didnt trust God when I shoukd have. I did bad things out of desperation and fear. And coming back to church after it all facing all the judgement and finger wagging and gossip its hard. But you never know whobsharing your most broken places with can help. I dint know what my future will be now. But I do know...the crushing... And Jesus took me back. Im still getting cleaned up..but I just want humbleness in the preaching. I had been tied to perrys ministry since my teen years. I went to his churchmen had deliverance. It was a pastor at that church that told my husband to leave me. But we are all siblings in christ. I just want this judgement and fear stuff conquered in our body of church. It makes me so sad. Being honest when you know how your own actions complicated situations we csnt focus on just the betrayal of other peoole if we have a role in it. I have no ill will in my heart but for those who followed him for years most of us just want answers that dont come. It all seems hidden even if we were partners or stumbled along with him. I am so glad hes ok. And Im so happy to see him preach again... I dont even know if what Im typing is ok. I dont know how to express such yearning. Inknow this message touched me. I know Jesus is there.
