    Their marketing is GENIUS! I love the quote that comes on the box and the cute, little bag. You are aware that with these bottles you can absolutely used them as a bidet, correct?! A bidet, which "rinses" your vagina anatomy (internal vulva) and anus area after bathroom usage, can be used without pregnancy relatedness and can actually be used for vagina hygiene anyday. Please be open-minded. 😁

      Yes, that makes sense! My review was focused on using them after birth.

    The angle of the frida mom bottle helps more than the hospital one. Especially having the belly still. I couldn’t use the hospital bottle with my first postpartum pregnancy due to the angle I couldn’t get it to go at the right spot so it just frustrated me and I had to go without and flex my whole body while in pain and pushing through it lol. The frida mom is much easier second go round. To each their own

    Thank you for the video & demonstration of the product. As for the carrying case being unnecessary, this product has also been recommended to people who are on certain meds that can cause frequent yeast infections and/or UTI's, such as Farxiga, for people with diabetes. I've been prescribed this med and I'm terrified I'll get an infection. So being able to take this to work with me (and utilizing the carrying case) is a great idea.

    I love the fridamom! I don’t unscrew the cap on it; I push the stick down refill and pull up to seal. I only unscrew the cap to wash after each use. So comfortable, and you can use it even during periods. Totally recommend.

    Your explanation on how to use my frida was super helpful, thank you. As someone who needs this due to an autoimmune disease (Lichen Sclerosis) that affects the vagina and potentially everything in the surrounding area, the “bidet for your vajay” actually made this item easier to find online and made it feel more inclusive. The fact that it has the bag is actually very helpful as well since I need to use this during every bathroom trip during a flare up. I’m definitely going to mention this product in our support group.

    Bravo on an excellent video. I just watched the history of the Bidet and looked online at the large pharmaceutical/self-care product chain I order from. Read the reviews on this peri bottle and started laughing at how many poor reviews there were because so many women were concerned about not being able to sterilize it after they inserted it into their vagina. What? Obviously, no clue how to actually use it.
    Again, great job in presenting this. Wonderful review too and the cost here is double your price listing. During the great toilet paper shortage during the pandemic, I considered one of these to clean up my backside for the occasional finish after dry wiping. Instead decided on using a bottle I already had at home for another purpose that nearly works as well until I can find one that suits me. Have used the wet wipes, but have my own septic system so only use one occasionally as a final check which gets put in the garbage the same way as a panty liner would.

    I have Type 2 Diabetes and due to the latest medication I am on, the clinic has advised me to use a peri bottle as one of the symptoms of the medication is yeast infections. They advised me to use it after I urinate, not during. This things that should be so simple do create confusion.

    Hi! New to your channel, thank you for the video... I was considering this Freda bottle but will deff pass since its clearly a gimmick though the angled nozzle does seem a little more helpful?... Question though since they use the word "bidet" I have one installed in my bathroom, will that replace the need for this bottle in general, and is it safe to use during recovery?

    Correction the hospital bottle is between $20-$75 NOTHING IS FREE AT AN AMERICAN HOSPITAL! You said they give you a free bottle after you give birth. It’s between 14-22k to give birth at a hospital so that bottle is part of the bill like a box of Kleenex. I’ve worked at Henry Ford hospital in Detroit. You’re paying or your insurance company is paying or the tax payer is paying.

    Will urinating in the shower work as well?

    • @birthtoolbox
      @birthtoolbox 3 роки тому +1

      Not really because you use the bottle to dilute the urine when it comes out. You want the water stream to be aimed up. I guess a handheld shower could work, but that’s a lot of effort every time you need to pee.
