- The new GBD-300 is surprisingly okay. I had a very low expectation but so far so good. It solved some issues that I had with the common gsquad with 'wing' under them. Other way for me to put it is that, it has all the merits of a gbd200 but with lesser demerits.
If you're interested in getting them, look it up on buyee. Try getting a used ones instead if you're don't agree with the msrp. Either way, it help support my channel if you sign up using my special link below:

Great review ... Owning the GBD-200 im sorry i just do not like these 300s as much but a good offering ...Hope Casio use more MiP screens in lower budget casios in the near future....
Like a plain 5600 would be AWESOME and be impossible to find

They absolutely NEED to do a plain dw-5600 with this screen. No heart monitor, no BT..just a basic 5600 with this screen
Millions of Casio fans want this, myself included.
But what would Casio do with all their old inventory? No one is going to buy them once they release the MIP version.
In fact, I have a theory that they can already do this if they want to. The tech is there and ready to be released. But they don’t, because of the inventory that would go unsold once they do. Unless they sell them at cost. Even then, I’d rather pay for the MIP, no matter how cheap the older models go for.

Just a different strap and buttons - but same problems as GBD200, no 1/10th or 1/100th seconds on stop watch, and too many bluetooth notifications from smart phone..
No solar, no sale.
Impressed by that screen clarity & semi smart watch features, but that entire structure screams cheap, albeit in a good Casio way. Would make a good beater watch for active ppl.
Can't believe that huge bezel isn't solar receptive... on the other hand I have the h2000 already and the solar on that just doesn't work.
is the bezel easy to replace or is it complicated like on the gbd200?
Definitely take the square one.
Even though they're not solar , they'd look a little better
