Amazing what you can accomplish with a few hours of dedication. I had a blown out tire on the Dump truck mid-way, but was able to fix it off camera. Good thing to, because we had to get those stones moved before the Boss got back. I'm getting much better with the excavator now - glad to see the progression is coming along nicely.
For those inquiring minds - Yes, I drove both rigs - and filmed todays Adventure!

I think I could spend countless hours playing with those rigs, they look like lots of fun. A little pricey but you get what you pay for and these look to be top notch. Thanks for taking us on the job site Medic. The film looked very cool with the real equipment in the back ground, well done. If I had the spare money I know these two pieces of RC equipment would be in my back yard for sure.

I gotta hand it to you - The size of your vehicles, combined with the deep depth-of-field and very strategically composed camera angles makes it look very much like your models are the same as the full sized ones in the background. I think if I played it at 75% speed, it would slow down the motion to give the vehicles more “weight”. This looks like so much fun - Wish I could afford these!!

Gotta add ... the angle you chose for the digging part at 3:43 looks un REAL!!!! the camera quality is perfect no clouds in the sky , view is low on ground makes it SCALE! love it ! each video you make it's like if you put the the bar very high each time looks awesome!

friendly tip, its a lot easier to load a dump truck from the side, not the back. still an awesome video though. :)

You need to build a dirt deck that is about 3/4 as high as the cab of the excavator. This will help you load because you wont have to lift bucket as high, plus its easier to scoop dirt because you are pulling it up and towards you. But its your life and I'm just proud to be part of it. Dig On !!

Could you mount the camera on top of the cargo bay of the dumb truck some time? It would be a nice perspective to see the truck being loaded from that angle, and the dirt/rocks sliding away from the camera as you dump it back on the ground. ;)

Hey Medic, a helpful hint for you. If you park the Dump truck at a 90deg or 180deg angle from where your digging, it will make loading easier!
