The eye of Milton passed over my house. Got my power back on about 4 hours ago. Governor Desantis, FPL, and contractors from other states who helped, thank you. Best run state in the union in my opinion. Unbelievably efficient.
I'm glad you are okay and have it back on. We won't be getting it back on until Monday at midnight according to our electric company notification . Luckily we are able to stay in a hotel and still work on repairs and cleanup at home. As well as check on family .Prayers sent out to those who have lost friends and love ones and to those who have lost their homes.

I don't think it's likely their going to help people rebuild their flattened houses even if they were fully funded that's just a fantasy it would be like the government buying people a new house, I would expect that if I was in their situation such as in Southern appalachia and Florida, in fact after these events a lot of people might just cut their losses and relocate out of the state or simple stay and rent or live in a trailer long term especially if their at the end of their working life such as being currently or close to being retired, or disabled.

I googled if the climate has always changed and got, yes, but it is changing quicker now than before… so I asked how we know it is changing faster now than before, they answered because the temperatures/climate is changing faster… did someone invent a Time Machine to prove that, nope hahahaha… in the 80’s they said we had 10 years until a new ice age would hit, when that didn’t happen, in the 90’s they said we had 12 years left, in the 2000’s they said the same… and so on and so forth…
