Subscribed, I hit subscribed at the intro. Lol great intro bud. Thank you for the tips as well. I was thinking about switching my 2.5 to an electric....I have a 3.3 as well so don't need both nitro
Do you still run the stock slipper clutch? I'm in process of converting to brushless. Plan on mamba x 1900kv. Wonder if the slipper will hold up? Have you tried slipper eliminator? Thanks
I had one on mine with mamba monster 2 and had it tighted all the way down and it still slipped so I bought the slipper eliminator off ebay and it works great but it is hard on tran and diffs I put the Robinson racing gears in the trans for added strength
appreciate sharing this vid Racing2Learn. Anyways, I'm in the middle of converting my revo 3.3 too, I'm waiting for my integy brushless conversion kit to arrive, is this conv. kit good? I heard it needs some filing to do to let a 1:8 motor to sit. Any advise on this. My revo also came with this 12-19mm hex hub which is i think not very common. Dunnow where to get rim/wheels for this hub size. :)
I haven't heard anything about the Integy conversion kit, we're using the ones from how2rc.com and they rock! As for the hubs, I'd convert to standard Traxxas 17mm hexes. 17mm hub wheels are the most common for 1/8th scale monster trucks.
@@Racing2Learn thanks. My integy conversion kit just arrived yesterday, i haven't installed them yet but i think they are pretty good too with what I saw. I'll try to have a look at how2rc too. I might as well change to 17mm hubs too after my tyres get beaten up bashing later on. :)
I have a how to rc mount for my tmaxx an it's great but I think I'm going to make a motor mount out of an old cen funfactor 2 an cut a piece out of the frame an make a motor mount. But I wanna put it on 6s I have a 6s system in my rustler 4x4 I might take out an put into my revo does ant of you have ur revo on 6s
@@Racing2Learn I understand it's about 30.00 for center diff but that is the way to put power to the ground. I have same set up and it works great. Thanks for replying to me
Thanks for watching and commenting vNotDisturbed-! Did you mean the metal spur gear? Not sure since our Revo came with it when we bought it used. You may want to check out Robinson Racing.
Hi i want to do a nitro revo 3.3 conversation to electric. Do u know if a transmission out of an electric transmission will fit a nitro chassis? I heard electric revo transmission beffier.?
Awwwww such a great dad 🥰🥰
Thanks for watching and commenting T. T. adventures! I try!
precious little one. Man I miss those days!!
Time flies, enjoy every moment!
That top arm is definitely up side down on the 1 on the left right rear side

Little late to the party... Where'd you find the battery plate? I'm looking to convert my 3.3 as nitro is crazy expensive anymore.
Never to late, how2rc.com/
This helped a lot thanks!
Glad to hear!

Still running the slipper clutch. What size battery do you plan on running?

Curious
I’m putting e revo chassis on my 2.5 and e revo trans
I'm converting my 3.3 to brushless could I keep my 2 speed and not have reverse?
You could, but with brushless you don’t really need 2-speed, plus there are more parts to break.
Hey if anybody's got a Traxxas repo 3.3 transmission you're trying to get rid of please get a hold of me
You know that's why they make wheelie bars
Thanks for watching and commenting Toby Dyes! Haha, indeed! But way too uncontrollable even with a wheelie bar.
Can you put a e revo chassis on the arms and bumpers

@@jrbr7628 Tekon is a great mount to use if you plan on using castle or 1/8 scale motor's. But tekno can be expensive.

You could have used the center diff in the revo tran's that way you won't do wheelies and have a better drive line.
Thanks for watching and commenting! That's a great suggestion that we considered, but didn't want to spend much more money on this truck.

So i really need forward only i want. Try my revo 3.3 to electric
Mamba 1717
It's pretty easy, you can search Google for a few options. We used the approach of notching the metal disc and using 3 screws.
Yes, you'll want to do the forward only conversion as describe in this video.
Where did you buy the metal crown? I need one

I need a motor mount for mine ideas
How2rc.com is the one we’ve used!
