Very clear and entertaining even though there's no visuals! Appreciate your insights and metaphors. The electrical infrastructure clicked well in my mind
worth an update here - Ethereum L2 scaling is making compute costless. Also for digital identity, wouldn't a cohort of centralized players be a more effective route - e.g. a G8, but of big tech firms, with a slashing mechanism to ensure no bad actors.
It would have been helpful if you had provided some hypothetical examples of future uses. I reminded of the announcement of the Segway scooter when I think of blockchain. People are excited and touting its future relevance, but the actual applications are yet to be seen and ultimately it just seems like a cool thing that there are really no practical ways to harness. I keep reading and watching videos and it's still confusing how exactly it will and for that matter is being used. In some ways it seems like a wikipedia for contracts, which I can imagine could be a good thing, but maybe that too is too shortsighted an understanding.
You can buy and sell land in moon and mars virtually but with a decentralised contract with a value. It maybe ridiculous but it possible with Blockchain technology. You can sell the land anywhere in the world.
Hi Kevin, can you please do a video on possible new technologies besides AI, ML, DL, & BlockChain that will truly revolutionize our near future. BTW, nice video.
So "the blockchain will scale more in the future"? getting to that conclusion didn't require a Kevin Kelly. We are huge fan of your works sir, but this video was a little disappointing.
Super clear. It's wisdom to explain blockchain in such understandable way.THANK YOU.

Here's the real question. As a lay (non-programmer) how do we invest in blockchain now, on the ground floor, besides crypto?
Thank you sir. Very clear explanation.
Thank you for the detailed information..
Thank you
