I was doing research on upgrading to a S5ii and stumbled on this channel. And every single video I watched thus far has brought value. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for showing us Canadians what an A2 looks like- I appreciate these sizes. I’m digging into this because everyone just says “now it is more about the sensor than the megapixels” but they don’t provide examples like you do. I’m also curious about how shrinking pixels (as in smartphone sensors vs dslr) and photons (?) per pixel. Beyond me. P.S. yes I do love your cat and I would enjoy a tour. My newer camera is a Nikon d750.
Megapixel size does have a definite effect on low light performance. Fewer pixels equals equals larger pixels. That’s why Canon’s flagship 1D series and now R1 are only 18-24MP.

Thank you so much! Hope you keep enjoying the vids!
Telling it how it is...I still love using my old nik d90, only 12.3mp and the thing takes wicked photos. Right lens and lighting is all you need.👍
One the first cameras I remember using was a d90!

Printed an A2 photo taken with my A7SIII, 12mp, and it look’s really nice ☺️ Still want the A7RV though 😂
Oh, no. NO. Megapixels surely DO indeed matter. But just not quite as much as you may believe.
It all depends on what your goals might be.

Nice. Cat
Less megapixels do not equal low light superiority. It’s been debunked many times.

@ a few YT photography channels debunked that. I thought the same thing as you originally.
