- This is a cover version I made of the great Alphaville track "The Elevator" from the flip-side of the "Sounds Like A Melody" maxi-single from 1984. The original is composed by Gold/Lloyd/Mertens.

you're amazing my friend.You pay to many details into it's almost identical to the original. How long time it takes to You to reconstruct such a track approximately? May i have a question? Because I admire Your work of Alphaville 's early stuff. I wonder if you consider to make some later Alphaville stuff. for instance I found myself quite difficult to identify reconstruction of Flame ~ i'm talking about the single version with all of those additional instruments. Do you think you'd eventually dare to elaborate this one?

this version is bassicaly built up on the album version. Most of the prime layers are supposedly reserved although sound of those is changed. Definitely used a different beats section. And chiefly is tarted with more synthetizers. Especially those synths I found very hazy to clarify. So if it could be eventually easier for You to identify the sound would You consider recreate this one if You'll make a time?

@@74goldenjet my favourite version as well. Very worked out. But I like the album version a lot so. Certainly, that would be awesome if You would get a try. At least it could be a good adventure, because it feels really very challenging to get it right, don't You think so?
