Let's be honest. Just because her hair is uneven doesn't unnecessary means she has split ends. If that's the case, hair would be cut strand by strand. Hair grows at different rates, so it will look uneven at times. So from what I've seen, her hair is growing down her back without getting trimmed like stylists suggest and her hair still looks healthy. For the most part, I think a trim just makes the hair looks better and more manageable to style but it's not a necessity.
This is true. My hair grew very long and was healthy looking without ever really trimming it. I did not have hair breaking all off like she suggested from not getting it trimmed. I have always said that you don't have to trim your hair for it to grow.
Thanks again for getting me right ! My Hair never looked better . 🙂 just to clarify if you were wondering why I relaxed at home , I’m a college student on the budget but I definitely know better now . Thanks again 🙂❤️
Sometime ago I heard something that I in my ignorance thought was selfish. It was, and I quote "Pay yourself first. Take care of your needs first." I've since realized paying me first and taking care of me first means OPP (OTHER PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS) in THEIR lives get taken care of FIRST and THEN they dump on you. Its A BRAND NEW DAY AND EVERYDAY I TELL MYSELF, "IF I KEEP SAVING PEOPLE FROM THEIR STUPIDITY, THEY'LL NEVER LEAVE ME ALONE TO CARE FOR ME FIRST!" SO Sisters, learn when to say "OPP!" And let them learn the lessons on their own time and dime! Have a great day everyone.
My hair was long and healthy and were I able to see you I would surely still have it. But alas, my hair is in the same condition hers was and I finally, after having to cut all 14" off because of KERATIN shampoo and conditioner weakening and breaking it, have decided to put myself first for once in my life and see a reputable beautician who uses products my fine hair will be able to tolerate like you've advised. Im ordering your hair care line as a supplement to this Mizani relaxer/moisturizing system and monthly protein enhancement. I Thank you Crystal from the bottom of my heart. I hope your move went well. Just a hint: more of us ladies would appreciate your flash sales coming the 1st-7th of the month. A lot of us live on SSD, SSI, etc. Thank you again Sister and have a lovely day.
Elle Noir I agree. I do not know why there are so many natural and processed hair people who dont trim up. all these UA-cam videos and they act like split ends is length. Those ends split up and make it worse.
2:30 100% truth. Some people think just having the license is enough but that doesn't mean they're doing things correctly - same way people with driver's licenses still get DUIs, speeding tickets etc. I'd hope those ehackos would watch your videos and see clients are supposed to leave the chair with their hair looking wonderful, not slightly above ok lol.
She has a nice full head of hair and you brought it back to looking very healthy. I think it's even more important to seek professional guidance when your crown is fine bcuz you then don't tend to have as much hair to spare in the event of an error.
Crystal the reason we do this is because where I live stylist say a trim but they are really giving you a cut that you didn't ask for.my husband was so mad then she told me I don't know what I was thinking about I'm sorry but she wasn't I was told she said she was going to do it ALL I could do was brush what she left on my head less than 1/4 in of hair all over that's why so many of us are skeptical. But I know you wouldn't do that 👍👍🔥❤️🙏
I just had this happen to me. I got relaxed after years of being having virgin hair. It looked straight after the service. I live in Hellxas aka Hell/Texas where temp or 103 avg daily right now and of I sweated and parts of my hair reverted to a kinky state. Yes I went to someone with a license but like you said we got to know what they're doing. Short of shaving my head bald I don't know what to do.
I remember I went to the salon to get a wash, blowout and a small trim on the ends, not a big chop. I asked for the mirror because I wanted to see how she cut my hair and how much. The stylist got mad and said no, you don't need the mirror. She gave me the mirror and I watched her, she was uncomfortable but the trim looked great.
I have experienced this as well. I had a professional do my hair and under processed it... how long do I wait until I can have it corrected? Finding a new stylist of course! Where is your salon located?
I totally agree with you. I cringe everytime I see these "youtube hair gurus" relaxing their own hair at home. Not to mention people who don't want to trim their ends. It always amazes me when I go to a salon and they don't trim my ends because I don't tell them to. I shouldn't have to tell you what to do to my hair, you are the expert, that's why I come to you. You should be able to tell me what my hair needs. I hate to see these females with these stringy split ends saying they have length. I prefer to be bald than to have these stringy thin ends. I always tell the stylists not to worry about my hair length. Cut off whatever needs to be cut off for it to be healthy. I wash my hair at home, roller set and go under the dryer and I do a good job with that but I won't try to relax at home
I think alot of stylists might be afraid to just cut without asking because so many people have put a stigma on getting trims because they keep calling stylists scissor happy. I tell people to cut what needs to go but you know everybody won't do that. I think that's why it's like these days.
@@YoshiSpeaksTruth yes I understand that but some of them don't even tell me that my hair needs trimming or whatever. I have to ask them if my hair doesn't need trimming and then they will say yes. I shouldn't have to ask, they should tell me what my hair needs and then let me say yes or no

How long did she have to wait to get the corrective relaxer done at the salon? And how long should one wait in general to get a corrective relaxer done at the salon after an at-home-mess-up?
Hello I want to no if you can dye a wig.Seem like I can't find a youthful looking wig that is gray. I want to look like my own color witch I a sliver white look. I only found the old lady style wigs. I'm looking for a lace front wig that I can buy Than you hope you can help me
What these women don't realize is those dead, uneven ends will continue to go up to the scalp and have way too much shedding. I love my cut every 6 weeks.
Thank you ❤️ I had to share this video to my daughter because she’s natural as well as I and I tell her how important it is for a professional to trim her ends as needed she so worried about length and I tell her well the length is going to be ruined if you don’t have a professional trim your ends really good so it can promote good hair growth
How do you get people scalp so white and clean. I do my scrub good and wash and condition with your products. They do go but I have had two wash days every 2 weeks x 2. How I get my scalp that clean
I have natural hair since 2011 and it's not doing what I wanted it to do so I live in Orlando and you're around the corner from me so I will be getting in contact with you

Totally agree with you, my hair grows almost to the waist but the very back above nape of my neck has always been much shorter and has a much slower growth pattern. If I always had my entire head trimmed to exact same length then my hair would never even be at bra strap length.
Sometimes I see some youtubers telling stories about how they don't go to stylists because they cut off too much hair and they do this because they are jealous and all that crap. Like no, they do that because your hair needs it and the longer you take to do it is the more you will need to take off because the damage is going further and further
@@Dianeen6 that may be so but a good and trained stylist should know what is best for your hair. In all my years of going to stylists, I have not met one who cut my hair because it didn't need it, unless I am asking for a style or something. There is certainly not one who has done so because of jealousy either and I've been to many
My two cents: she appeared to be a 'young' client and nowadays folks just assume the internet is a reputable place to quick reference what pros study and execute under instruction. SMDH. Why do I love seeing the blunt cut with the clippers so much? Lol.
I love a good cut. It’s hair🤷🏽♀️ it grows back.
Pretty Dangerus right I love when my ends look nice and neat and not straggly. It’s JUST HAIR?
i know I'm kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to watch new tv shows online ?
@Pierce Spencer I watch on Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Leon Tucker yea, I have been using FlixZone for years myself =)

I do my own touch ups and trem my hair. Don't have a problem yet. I understand but can't go to a dresser cause of me having MS.
That trim was everything

She must thought she was gonna get a CUT as opposed to a TRIM apparently. It looks good after the trim because she has definition.
That's a hell of a trim
Her hair looks beautiful. I'm trying to find info on underprocessed relaxer fixes. I think my relaxer was old. 😭😭😭
Great explanation because I was soooo confused by the title
The front area needed to be trimmed too and the perimeter needed to be cleaned up with the shears. She didn’t address the front area at all.
How long did she have to wait to get the corrective relaxer done at the salon? And how long should one wait in general to get a corrective relaxer done at the salon after an at-home-mess-up?
I second this question, how come no body is telling how soon we can rerelax after first attempt??
My hair is long like that and I do get trimmed. Because I did not a year go I had to wack more than 3 inches.
