Kamen Rider Zi-O and Kamen Rider Zero-One are both mediocre seasons on Kamen Rider in my opinion, so what happens when the two star in a crossover movie? You get Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation, one of my favorite Kamen Rider movies!

Everyone keeps getting confused on the Daybreak Town Accident but I'll help explain.
The factory explosion and Ark being sabotaged are two separate events. The factory explosion IS the Daybreak Town Accident, as we see blue flames coming out of the factory and Soreo protecting Aruto from the blue flames.
The Ark sabotage and being submerged underwater likely took place prior the factory explosion and Humagears always likely went berserk beforehand.

Here's what I can pieced together with events from the movie since its events are canon to the main Zero-One timeline up until the appearance of Another Zero-One.Not counting Fuwa's flashbacks since those are revealed to be faked. Maybe the upcoming episode 35.5 will shed some light into the whole accident.
Ark did went berserk thanks to 1000% jackass and hacked the Humagears but Soreo managed to resist it and successfully prevented it from being launched as Ichigata, restoring the Humagears in the process. However, four of the hacked Humagears evaded Ichigata and went on forming Metsuboujinrai.net. They then attacked the factory which caused the Daybreak Town Accident. At the time, Soreo was with Aruto when it happened (even if he knew about the attack, he probably prioritized Aruto due to being a Parent-type Humagear). The reason why the accident is a bit different from what was revealed in the show was presumably Hiden Intelligence covering up the accident at the first place.

No seriously, Time Jackers are basically people who alters history because they hate Oma Zi-O. Other than Schwartz, we know nothing about the other Time Jackers and their relationship with him, considering their abilities are granted by Schwartz.

1.remember when woz said the Zi O 2 ride watch would turn him to Oma Zi O? That really felt like decade's ending.
2. Remember the 15 seconds of build up we had before white woz's death
3. but his magic book and riderpowers doesn't vanish from existence even tho his clothes did.
4. Remember when Tsukuyomi and Geiz still remember the another zi o 2 timeline, but no one else for some reason
5. Why the fuck does alternate dimention chase get memeories of real chase
6. So like if woz just held both zi o 2 and revive ride watched, it creates the trinity watch...... and people complain that gaim is literally handed power ups

8. Remember when grand zi o watch dissappeard when the den o watch was taken, but the decade watch was taken and it's still there(as if decade getting his powers back wasn't already an asspull)

10. Remember when the plot cared about Woz's final form for like 2 and 1/4 episodes, specially considering it's supposed to be stronger than Zi O Trinity
11. Remember when geiz revive had drawbacks, but was only shown 3 times
12. Remember the amount of explination we had for Taiyou and Wakusei, i don't even know what Wakusei does
13. Remember when kamen rider tsukuyomi was important to the plot, only for her importance to be removed later that episode
14. Remember the 5 seconds of buld up we had for zi o trinity
15. Remember when the good guys aren't dead alreadg despite the badguys being able to stop time(why was cronus a threat again?)
16. Remember when Geiz and Tsukuyomi were gonna go back to the future? Which randomly became ask past swarts about his plan
17. Swarts said the only reason he didn't get rid of Ora and Heur sooner is because he needed them... they literally did nothing he couldn't do himself the whole show
18. Remember when woz said grand and oma were evenly matched despite grand being hundreds of ride watches away from oma
19. Remember when heisai gen forever was cannon(as evident by kuuga and w watches) before it wasn't
20. how does a kid from the future winning a game bring eternal back
21. If Swart’s “entire plan all along” was to get oma Zi o’s power, why didn’t he just time travel to the 1st oma day
22. Did Swarts forget he made Kaito steal the grand Zi o watch, why isn’t he questioning why Zi o has it back
23. It also completely contradicts his plan of turning him to oma Zi o
24. Why can blade and agito still transform? where did ginga come from? Answer: tsukuyomi is from another timeline.... the author doesn't even know how to make mysteris or answer his own questions
25. Remember when, in an alternate timeline, Geiz revive would beat oma Zi o despite being weaker in every way
26. Remember when Zi o losing the grand watch all 3 times had so much plot relevance
27. Remember when chase’s cameo had so much plot relevance
28. Remember the absolutely not out of nowhere plot line of Ultraman Ginga becoming a Kamen Rider that turned evil and became such an interesting, complex, multilayered and multidimentional character, that served so much importance to the plot, with everything about him being thoroughly explained and not just to give woz a power up that goes ignored anyway despite being stronger than zi o trinity
29. Copy paste last show’s ending but worse because it was so out of nowhere, and invalidated this whole series and by extension
30. (In Heisei gen forever)Oh look it’s Kuuga, his corps, a very accurate representation of your hopes and dreams of seeing a real Kuuga arc
31. Remember when the only thing that could kill another riders were their own powers... and woz ginga killed another kiva

34. Remember the immagery of the ridewatches dissapearing to combine to the grand zi o ride watch, but den o was an exeption just so it could be taken
35. Remember when Tsukuyomi first transformed, only in the next episode to untrasform instantly after
36. Remeber when Geiz and Tsukuyomi got the idea to travel back in time because of zi o traveling to the future...AND THEY NEVER EVER EVEN MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT THAT EVER, almost as if it was an idea they pulled out of their asses and added it in not thinking about how bullshit ot actually is
37. Remember when tsukuyomi and ora pretending to side with swarts had so much plot relevance, they very literally did the exact same shit twice and accomplished nothing both times, i have a stinking feeling he forgot he made ora do that already considering he made tsukuyomi redo everything she did step by step
38: Sougo's such a bad character, da fuck every other kamen rider protag or normal person with common sense for that matter would be happy a villain gave up after failing too many times, but Zi O here literally tells white woz not to give up evil, What even is the point of stopping him if it's not to make him stop
39. There are literally only 2 villains in the whole show that were a real threat, Ginga and Another Decade, even Another Zi O 2 was child's play
40. Remember when Oma Zi o summoned Grand Zi o for no reason
41. Remember when Swartz getting Tsukuyomi’s powers was so plot relevant
42. remember how kamen rider tsukuyomi was made so much sense, speaking of which, remember the absolutely not bullshit, asspull, deusex machina plot point where if you have a blank ride watch for long enough, it becomes a ride watch of yourself from another timeline, which was COMPLETE FUCKING GARBAGE WRITING(bonus bullshit: ironically she wears the same clothes all the time, exept in the finale)
43. oma day is supposed to be this legendary day that literaly decides everything, yet it's an underwhelming blade tribute that accomplished nothing but get rid white woz and give zi o a useless power up

44. Remember when Zi O 2 could reverse time, but was only used once
45. Barlckx's existance makes no sense
46. Completely bastardise what blade stood for, it was undone in the finale, which is actually far worse writing
47. tsukuyomi only remembers she has time stop under useless or "false tension/forced" curcumstances and not THE ACTUAL TIMES WHEN THAT POWER IS ACTUALLY USEFUL
48. Remember when the grand zi o watch is supposed to be the fusion of all watches as seen in it's debute, so how do we literally see them in his home when they crack even tho he's wearing it
49. How does Swarts targetting zi o's friends make the good guys think he's after zi o, further more he says their right which is worse writing, but then like, he's not actually targetting zi o cuz he does nothing, he just say he's targetting zi o
50. Remember when Kamen rider tsukuyomi had 50 seconds of screen time
51. oma zi o and zi o oma.... not explaning the difference, and the naming scheme is stupid too
52. the zi o and zi o 2 another watches came out of no where and break the rules of another ride watches
53. All villains suck, have no character and have no origin what so ever, Barlcks is my favorite among all of them, despite being no different, if only because he constantly says the show sucks
54. The genm watch just popped into existance and the tajador watch's existance break ridewatch rules with no explination, both were clearly just added in the due to popularity of kuroto and ankh
55. The beyondriver technically makes no sense. It's implied that white woz is also from 2068 so he's technically using watches from the past relative to him
56. Wtf even is woz anyway

Despite being a tribute show, it ironically forgets the importance of the past heroes by earsing their existance, logically meaning all the villains will have ruled the world, maki should have destroyed the world, the paradox roimude should have stopped the world's time, etc. But apparently the world's just fine, implying kamen riders were useless.
58. Author has clearly never seen most of the shows it's giving tribute
moral of the story: zi o is far worse than absolute fucking trash, to the point where calling it trash is actually a complement and anyone who likes it isn't even paying attention to the show and is only looking at blind, mindless fanservice rather than it's substance

Also fans: Complete forn sucks, looks so ugly, worst final form ever, man toe is so dumb for making complete form, cards on his chest look so ugly and the rest of him look so plain, bland and boring, why does this form even exist.
(10 years later, where he realistically did nothing exept reveal tsukuyomi and swarts are siblings and create another decade)
Fans: DECADE FAVORITE RIDER EVER, BEST KAMEN RIDER TO EVER EXIST, SO BADASS

Zi-O is fun but messy, although I'd argue Zero-One has some real strong parts. I personally prefer it's Metal Cluster arc over any other "Oh man, he's got a suit that goes berserk" arc of recent note, if only because it's solution felt the most natural and led to that being one of my favorite modern forms. I also think Aruto and Fuwa are both just so charismatic and lovable, they carry the slower parts of the plot. Also those suits are s l e e k, and I dig it. Especially the forceriser ones, I love the smashed together unnatural look.
@Prabhjot GHOTRA I do really like Hazard Form design wise, but honestly the conclusion to it just felt like "It's time for it to stop being evil now. Uuuuh, something something Rabbit Rabbit I guess." It just didn't really feel as earned to me.

Berserk states are not always evil.
The Hazard forms were quite well done because they want to have a way to utilize the hazard power while not losing control. which sento was able to find a way. He is a genius after all.
there are still times where sento still decides to use the hazard trigger without the use of the rabbitrabbit and tanktank full bottles. only until he gained Genius.

@Prabhjot GHOTRA Well I'd rather it didn't drag the whole berserk thing for too like, kind of like Build and it's Hazzard form. Liked we gotten that he couldn't control it, didn't at need to have it keep going on for several episodes. And at the very least the way they resolved was well thought out and was built up for several episodes.
But if you think it was rushed fine, I just don't see it. I thought it went on as long as necessary.

@@Alex-zm5ok Not really, Zi-O rewrote his timeline with Geiz and Tsukuyomi starting as the students from 2018.
Well, technically Sougo reverted back to 18 after resetting the timeline. But yeah, meeting your predecessor, fighting your inner demons, fighting your inner demons from a previous timeline, constantly trying to not becoming said demon from previous timeline for a whole year only to end up becoming said demon from previous timeline and sacrificing infinity powers to reset the timeline. And the power of friendship. Those could give someone some mighty wisdom.
The movie is more serious toned than past crossover movies. I really love how mature sougo is in the movie and i also love the interaction between aruto and soreo especially during the battles. The bgms, the actions, the effects are a big improvement from past movies. Even this movie gave me the feels when i first watched it and the only movie that managed to gave me feels before was den-o's summer movie. But sadly since this is Zio, the story still has some confusing bits and Finis is a lame antagonist and i wish Tide came back as the antagonist instead.I also wish there were more interactions between other riders beside Zero One and Zio. But in overall this movie is my favorite kamen rider crossover movie of all time.

Ichigata is a homage to the Showa Riders, and i freaking love it.
Ichigata's speed visuals are amazing. The greatest part are the visual where he gains a scarf. Oh it's so cool, such a great suit!

It didn't occur to me until you mentioned it but yeah we aren't getting Masahiro Inoue as Decade again, so logically they will probably have Sougo become the new decade in a way. Part of me doesn't like that but also I'm cool with it

I'm sure we might get a small cameo in a movie in the future, sorta like how Fujioka appears as Ichigo from time to time. However, we won't really get a full movie or season with decade as a character again I don't think. It's sad, cuz hes one of the actors who really seemed to enjoy the role and still does KR content on youtube.
honestly to really understand the plot of this movie you need to understand the Concept of "Kamen Rider" From previous movie
mainly :
- Generation Forever (Ryutaro/Den-O Explanation of kamen rider)
- Drive Movie kamen rider Sango (I forgot who either decade or wizard that explain about rider reason to fight)
- Showa VS Heisei (mainly about kr fifteen)
- Den - o Feat OOO movie ( Denliner owner Explain About Kamen Rider History)
I’m glad they did this and didn’t try to make reiwa take place in its own universe. They had no obligation to make this crossover but I’m glad they did, sougo being a badass and more mature is great as it acknowledges that what he did in Zi-O matters despite him losing his memory
I really liked this movie, it was a great use of Zi-O and it’s time travel theme, while also expanding on an event in Zero One that we have only heard about and seen very little.
So sad that we'll probably never get to see Ichigata outside of this movie

I think my main issue with the movie is that given it's heavily Zero-One focused, that the Zi-O cast is mostly lost among everything, the only one who real did any thing was Sougo and that's to be expected given he's the lead Rider, but as someone who liked the Zi-O cast despite the occasion misstep in writing, it kind of sucks, plus we never got the Tsukuyomi/Valkyrie team battle that was teased early on and it would have been nice seeing both Lady Riders kick butt together.

And even though I have watched Zero-One to the episode before Thouser's debut (I need to continue, but I don't know if it'd be worth just watching the recaps for the Workplace Competition arc instead), I just couldn't find it in me to like the movie much, and I feel bad, I like the Zero-One cast as well so I know it's not a problem with them.

What I know is that if I did a Zero-One/Zi-O movie, it would be one that ends Foundation X (at least as it is) and Hiden Intelligence is just a target of the corporation since the people running it are Tid and Finis, though Tid here is pre-Heisei Generations Forever as he has no memories of already dealing with Sougo, and upon his defeat as Another Heisei (think a molten hybrid of Another Riders looking like Grand Zi-O in terms of design), he goes and makes Heisei Generations Forever occur after he's recovered, while Finis gets what assets from Foundation X with Tid handing all ownership of the company to her, restarts it in secret, that way, Foundation X, for now, is dealt with and has a chance of returning under a new name.
That would've been really cool!
001 and Ichigata are my favorites! I love how 001 is the reused suit done right (from Build's Night Rogue) and how it gave off the Black Ops vibes to me. Also, I love how Ichigata is a direct reference to Ichigo's early form and how he plays out in the movie. Put Ichigata together with Zero-Two, and we'll get Reiwa's double Riders!
Ok the reason that she got the Ichigou powers from Sougo is because in the final episode of Zi-o he had all of the riders powers, even riders he never interacted with, so it is possible that Ichigo's powers were mixed in there somewhere
Like how Sougo accepts his fate as The Demon Lord of Time and Space when he fights another Ichigo while transforming into Zi-O 2 and than when he uses Ohma Zi-O’s henshin sequence. I think showing that no matter what path he chooses his path is that of Ohma Zi-O. Which is why when Showa vs Heisei vs Reiwa happens, i hope they use Ohma Zi-O instead of Base Zi-O
In the end of the movie, Zi O fight Zero one to erase his memory. So... Who's gonna win in this fight ??

@Rai Han that not flashback, that just Professor Humangear doing info dump and they reuse the footage. Zi-O erase the event of this timeline with his Ohma power because he wanted to live a normal life with his friends
I have mixed feelings about this movie,but mostly positive! I like how Sougo now has that mentor vibe to him,and how Aruto interacts with the other cast. I love how bulky the 001 suit is and how its almost the opposite of the original suit and now i really want to see the others to use the forceriser. Usually my mind ignores the story aspect of something when im really hype or really into it but Finis just didnt get enough screen time,i dont even think they mentioned her name or maybe i forgot,the only reason i remembered her name was cuz of a post about her on instagram,and as of right now im still trying to catch up with zero one but from what ive seen Aruto sometimes have troubles of showing emotion either its the overreacting or when he tries to cry,theres just no tears,i dont really mind the overreacting as much as how he tries to cry,it looks like he stepped on legos but cant scream from the pain or something lmao,regardless this was still really fun.
Skull and Ichigata are two of the coolest Riders ever

Watched a few of your videos but I subscribed only today, I like all your videos! Regarding how Another Ichigo was possible, From what I read somewhere before watching this movie, the reason Finis is able to create the Another Ichigo watch by stealing Sougo's powers, is because he achieved the power of Ohma Zi-O in the final episode, also Sougo and Woz specifically say Ohma Zi-O has the powers of "All Kamen Riders" to Swartz and not the powers of "All Heisei Era Riders", Which implies he has the powers of Riders from all Eras(Besides Reiwa, probably) and A.R. Worlds, and Present-day Riders as well, which is why Another Ichigo could be based off of Ichigo.
This movie is pretty great except for the Time Jacker, again not being explained. Like where tf is she, and where did she come from, and where did she get her powers, etc, etc. But it's an aspect of ZI-O, so as usual it's crappy.

Supplementary material explained she was close to Swartz and wanted revenge for what Sougo did. Since Sougo's dreams made Aruto's world, she chose to attack that.

They didn't say that she was close to Swartz they just stated that they share similar mindset which act as their own truth.
She viewed the Riders as Evil and should have been that way but their powers were used for good instead.
11:24 it has been stated that Sougo gained the powers of every single Rider that came before him when he became Oma Zi-O. Also for the record: The stage show is not canon to Reiwa the first Generation, Geiz Majesty and the main series. The stage show continues the story set in the timeline of Over Quartzer and yes Over Quartzer is not in the main Zi-O timeline but the kinda Drive Arc did happen to some extend in the main series. Off-screen of course
Well the Sougo in this movie seemingly doesn't have the Oma Zi-O powerset and therefore wouldn't have Showa powers. Also it seems weird that Finis would get every rider power ever and just uses Ichigo as the design
@@thomasjujube 1. It was never said that Sougo doesn't have his Oma powerset. He just didn't use it because destroying Time and space wouldn't really fix the problem
2. Finis never took the powers of every single Rider. Do not forget that Sougo still had access to Grand Zi-O meaning that he had atleast access to the powers to the original 20 Heise rider. Now which Powers Finis took is unclear but judging by the fact that they turn into Another Ichigo it seems that they only took those powers which is enough to leave Sougo with his incomplete version of Oma: Grand Zi-O
Sougo only got his Grand powers back at the end of the movie, you'll notice when Finis took his powers there is yellow energy leaving his body, and at the end when Zero-One strikes Ichigo with his sword the yellow energy returns to Sougo and he proceeds to transform into Grand Zi-O

I assume finis was able to make Another Ichigou from Sougos powers because he’s technically obtained the powers of Oma Zi-O, who canonically has the powers of every rider.
So at the beginning Woz explains that the reason that Zi-O is able to crossover with Zero-One is because he reset the timeline and the worlds are coming together again but they never let us know if at the end the worlds separate and everything is back as it "should" be only for Birth Accel and Kaixa to appear in Geiz Majesty. So are the worlds back together making it possible for Zero- One to crossover with Saber in the future?
Have you done a Top 20 Battle OST yet? I don't mean the insert songs, but the leitmotifs, like the spanish music for Decade, the egyptian music for Zi-O, W's jazz and so on... You can't have a Rider without their signature tunes.

The stage show is canon. It’s hard to explain since Zi-O has multiple god through multiple timelines. It’s ridiculous. But that’s how it is with the Zi-O timelines.
And even then, would’ve had her take Ichi-Gata’s powers. Which leads into his death later. Or I would’ve actually involved the showa era.
actually, Finis took the Rider power from the 2005 Kamen Rider: The First movie universe, since Zi-O have every power of riders from the Heisei era, it fits.
I guess that works, but it’s still a weird thing that Finis latches on to The First of all things
The Forceriser 01 suit is fucking amazing
Imagin Zero-One becoming your favorite kamen rider after it ends

They were probably saying the time jacker stole the ichigo power from Zio as he has all the riders powers even the powers of the side riders so if he is the king of all riders it would make sense that he has the showa riders in him too
About izu not showing as much emotion in the main series than in the show could be because of either izu never saw any other reason to display any other info in the main series or, she lost her singularity when the timeline reset as the singularity can't be achieved by only data, then again its only a theory
I think the first reasoning might be it since she usually doesn’t have much to be that emotionally strained unless she directly sees Aruto getting hurt

9/10 for this movie, I love this movie. One of the best movie taisen in Kamen rider history. But this movie is more like zero one 's own movie just adding small cameo of zio.

regarding daybreak incident i think the existence of Another Zero One (or Time Jacking) cause event to go faster than they usually do thus the difference scenario during daybreak but the same result. the ARK going nuts.
OMA-ZIO is all rider. im guessing finis steal some of that aspect to get ichigo and the last part OMA-ZIO just redid time and realign the world like the final episode. cant have decade do a spot check
the positive of this movie for me:
-ichigata n 001 suits
-the daybreak incident
-the choreography of the fight scenes such as vulcan n valkyrie tag team to fight another 01, zi-o and zero one final battle against another ichigo
-ichigata vs 001
-hiden soreo and aruto's interaction and relationship
-another daybreak theme
the negative (or nitpick i guess):
-the time travel still makes no sense
this movie also raise a bit of question: in the series it was revealed that hiden intellegence created ark with ZAIA's cooperation or should i say Gai amatsu's cooperation and also it was revealed that gai is the one who implanted human malice that made ark thinks that human extinction is it's goal. i know they shouldn't reveal gai amatsu at the movie (except the end credit) but shouldn't there be a hint of zaia somewhere among the human resistance? shouldn't soreo be like connected to the ark and found what triggered the ark to have this error ? i might miss something tho
overall i love this movie , 8/10

They should give Zero-one a movie-only power-up that would show in the tv show after the movie is released, so it feels that the movie has more of a connection to the main story.
They used to do that by having the new power-up make a debut in this movie before the actual season

As Zero One's first movie, this was pretty cool. I do agree that the obtaining of Another Ichigo's power is kinda wonky but personally MY only real complaint is that at the end, when Zi-O says "we gotta erase your memories", that would've been an AMAZING opportunity to incorporate the Zero One Ridewatch!
Either that or during the final battle, Zi-O's power sort of....reacts to Zero One in the presence of Ichigo and creates both the Zero One Ridewatch and the Zi-O Progrise Key. I'd have been pretty satisfied if that was how they incorporated those accessories into the movie, but perhaps for a later crossover. I'd LOVE to see Zero One interact with the other Heisei Riders, obviously
Really loved this movie its one of my favourite aside from the time travel its a cool movie definitely the drama its has is like the kamen rider 4 movie

hey I like this review but I think you got some small things wrong. I'm pretty sure auto also remembers the events of this movie as he flashbacks to it during episode 25. and I also don't think it was that guys dad who stopped daybreak I think he stopped a bunch of hacked humagear from getting out of his factory and into the world.

Why couldn't they connect the ending of this movie with Geiz Majesty? The latter would be much better( especially if they gave some more sense to the ending)

@@thomasjujube Well, mostly I don't like how Sougo in the beginning acted like a kinda spoiled brat( despite having nothing on his name) that kept following a meaningless dream and despite improving about certain flaws he doesn't truly changes in the end and is still obsessed over that, barely working upon. If it was a thing like ' I can't become a king, so I'll be a politician and I'll study a lot to become the best I can', I would already like him a lot more.
Geiz shoulda techinically be his voice of reason, and we can't negate that, be it for his future or to help further Sougo himself. In the end they just had to invent some mumbo jumbo injury and following plot that makes his dream becoming ' a savior'.
Of course most Riders wanted to follow their dream a way or another, but in a realistic way, as they know their society is far from perfect and in their little try to improve it: Tomari is a respected police officer, Eijii wants to help people but still works a lot to travel, Emu is a medic and so on. The final message of the series and the movie seem to be forget every contact to reality and follow nonsensical goals.

Curious as to why you think Zero One is mediocre.
First 17 or so episodes are absolutely amazing, but then it gets real middle of road afterwards during the competition arc with Thouser. The current episodes are good but it lacks that same attention to detail that I think the first ones did. So it overall rounds out to being mediocre for me
@@thomasjujube I actually like the competition arc, it was an interesting way to do the victim/monster of the week while actually moving the story along, and a lot of other things in that arc were also pretty neat. And I don't see what you mean the recent episodes lacking attention to detail, I thought they have been real good, especially regarding Isamu and Yua's development. So yeah I can't agree with you but I appreciate your opinion.
I can understand that. For me personally the actual content in the competition arc is largely uninteresting. I guess lack of attention to detail isn’t the right word. I think it’s weird that Fuwa’s backstory was established as fake despite having him move past it be a more powerful development. And it’s kind of annoying there was no explanation given for why Yua put up with Gai for so long and is now being pushed to the background again. I dunno, I like the season but there’s a lot of parts I feel could’ve been done better in a more interesting way
@@thomasjujube To be fair, Yua only managed to beat cuz Fuwa was helping her, that's really it, I don't understand why that's hard for people to understand whenever see that scene. And ultimately if that's how you feel, I won't change your opinion, I just felt differently about it, I'm sorry. I just thought they were done fine.
