What do you mean? UPD: It just sounded like you address it to me (UA-cam comments notifications on my phone are rare thing and I was confused by this surprise). Maybe I just got it and you mean things that happened in game
The instrumenation is a few decibels lower than needed. Part of the appeal of the old orchestra is how tumultuous it feels and almost drowns the vocals. But overall this is much better than your other mix.
@@golits The more I listened to each of them, the more it seems to me you slapped on the vocals track onto the instrumentation without editing them. In this one, it pans out surprisingly well, and the new vocals don't clash much at all with the old sound. But it didn't work out for the other one, since the instrumentation has newer stuff in 1.22 that specifically matches its vocals. If you're interested, I recommend Jonathan Barouch's analysis of the 1.22 Shadowlord, a good watch.
Any chance you could direct me to where you found the isolated stems for the instruments from the original Nier? I used to have them, but lost them at some point. I'm trying to make a retro version of Shadowlord, but I need the drums & vox. Thanks in advance, this is really great work you're doing here. I always preferred the original instrumentation, but the new vocals.
@@Neo-Midgar I forgor to mention, the next step was opening extracted directory with foobar2000, maybe with a plugin, and then I converted files that I needed to WAV and imported them to audio editing software
Thank you for your remark! I don't really understand what goes off and how can it be fixed. And I think it isn't a big deal to delete old video. If it's not difficult for you, can you tell timecode(s) and more explanation?
@@golits i do recall one of these track have extra transition to last part . thats why it goes off towards the end . you need cut that part manualy in some editing program but its weird why this version is fine the . vocals should be off in this version unless this hummin only version doesnt have that epic like orchetra transition
@@LordDeBahs I edited both mixes in video editing software. Maybe I understand what do you mean, the composition of new tracks don't match old ones, but I think the intervals with not matching composition which I didn't cut sound good. Unless it's off beat (tempo mismatch)

@@golits that was just general advice . not related to remix :p
Great job! We needed this type of mixess :D

This is actually really, really well done! Good job. I like how you executed this.
This sounds amazing. Nice work!
solid mashup, the new nier vocals aren't half bad, it's just the new instrumentals that butchered the feeling of the old one
OMG, this is the best mix of Shadowlord I've ever heard. been playing this for nth time 😁
how many times have you played this?
me: YES 😆
Thank you!

@@Neo-Midgar Of course! I used "Yet Another CPK Tool", you can find it on GitHub. The audio is in USRDIR/MEDIA/AUDIO directory

Good lord, I’ve been looking for this!
You are very creative, i saw the other version. I like both of them.
Kino work man, wonderful
Great soup recipe!
nice job
Thank you!
good
thank you
Can you do this with Song of the Ancients fate? I would love it :3
Do you mean remade vocals and original instrumental?
Edited: I didn't find separated audio tracks in remade version
Can you do this with Shadowlord’s castle and God Bound by Rules? Or mix them somehow?
I'll try
It's almost done. At the moment I'm not sure should I post it or not. Do you want to hear it? Can I contact you somehow?
Can you post the link to another medium here?

very good version . you should revisit other version it goes completly off at end . you need edit note bars to match properly

Is Gestalt Nier a Watcher of sorts ? Was that the price of his Pact with that Grimoire ? To lose his humanity ? Like Gismor ?
