Claudia Fontaine there on stage passed away in March. I saw her in Tokyo last January when she was working with Janet Kay. It was the first time for more than 20 years since the days when she was working as a member of the Hothouse Flowers and we were watching this video at my friend's restaurant and talking about the the days of the Flowers. Please remember there was an amazing singer there.
Thats because hhf are the nicest, most fantastic and most talented band to ever come out of the emerald isle. God bless them ....they kept their feet firmly on the ground
I was 18 yo loved hothouse flowers , very unique blend of rock and roots , saved was one of the best flip sides , I was barely conscious of Glastonbury, I wanted to die this year . Given the way things turned out I wish I had
This brings back so many memories. I remember going on the duck from Mount Sion school in Waterford Ireland to go to a record signing at sinnotts record store. It was in or around this time, I've ever since been a huge fan of the flowers and seen them several times since. Every time they put on a fantastic show without fail. Please continue to support live music 🇮🇪
Yay! I was there close to the front!! Great memories! ❤
