It’s the people that don’t play the game everyday the casuals that don’t want to learn how to be “sweaty”. They’re fine with a kill here and there because at the end of the day…… it’s a video game

It’s sucks in this game seriously exactly what marksman said. I’m nowhere near his level but I’ve had around a 2kd in the past several cods and I have no problem getting kills. The problem is the teammates that genuinely struggle to win gunfights when they get placed against players around your skill level. You can consistently drop 15 or 20 kills in search and lose more than half your matches if you’re not playing in a party. Another thing is some of my friends that aren’t as good literally hate playing with me because while it makes it easier to me it makes it like twice as hard for them and they’ll just go double negative half the time we play. It’s just a shitty experience all around this year.
Same experience here when I play with my son. Hes not that good so when he joins with me, the lobbies feel really easy so Im having a blast, but he cant get a kill at all. But later that night he will play solo and be happy he got 30 kills. Cant even play this game with my own kid because SBMM is THAT important to Activision.
For a sec I thought damn, 2.0 kd. Then I reminded myself of going hough the camo grinds, where I forced myself to use dog shit weapons at the most inopportune ways. Yet I still hold somewhere between 1.2 to 1.5😅.

It’s been this same experience for the past 5 years lmao idk why ppl think something is gonna change. We just gotta accept that the cod we love is dead and move on.
Here's the thing.. if you remove SBMM, you won't have lobbies like this. You'll have a balance of experienced and novice players in the lobby, thus completely balanced in most cases.

The only thing you need is team balancing.. just like Battlefield.
Thats what we want. We want completely mixed lobbies where some are easy and some are hard. Not hard every time or easy every time
Plus the added bonus of matchmaking no longer ignoring connection quality.

The Swarm is awesome. I think that they need to add a few more drones, though.
If all the drones would target all players without the counter acting perk. Then the remaining would crash randomly and rapidly throughout the map would be awesome. I mean rapidly though like all those drones hit the ground in 10--15 seconds

My 'average' .7 KD has made me encounter some of the sweatiest players I've ever seen. I guess the developers want players to lose as much as possible since my win/loss ratio is like .29 due to having 10-15 games in a row be a landslide defeat for every win I get.

i did some testing when people found out about the session joining, i have a 3 accounts (brain dead reason why) account 1 has 0.6kd, account 2 has 1.9kd, account 3 has a 3.3kd, what i tested is there's like sweet spots in kds, when looking for a game with my 3.3kd i joined about 3/5 times to the account with a 1.9 but i was the only player above a 1.2 kd on the team and NEVER found a match against the 0.6, the game would automatically search for lobbies with a higher ping going to 120 lobbies. The 1.9kd joined 1/5 times against the 0.6 account but ALSO NEVER joined the 3.3kd,what i think is happening is kds are like tiers, if you have somewhere over a 2.2 and above u are put into the t3 lobbies or you join a t2 lobby with all odds against you, t2 is somewhere around 2.2kd - 1.2kd but anything under 1 will just stay at t1 lobbies until the game recognizes your last few games then bumps you up for 1 game, if you do terrible you are instantly dropped back down or you have a higher kd carry on your team, the biggest problem i found was I've only ever played 2 games where everyone in the lobby had a kd higher than 2.2 meaning pretty much 90% of the time you will be pushed down to t2 lobbies with the worse team in the world, the game will prioritize sbmm over connection unless yes you use the vpn to geo fence and if you have your kd just above the halfway mark of the tier your in so 1.6kd(for t2 lobbies)you will have a more consistent team balance, i dropped my 1.9 to a 1.5 and its night and day difference. You just skip all this shit by session joining.
Average being .7 makes my 1.7 feel a lot better and makes me realize I’m not crazy thinking my lobbies are always sweaty

I don’t mind SBMM at all but it seems it only works in favor of the opposing teams 90% of the time. I get so many games where I have around 12-18 kills and maybe like 6 deaths average and my team is always triple negative. Like no exaggeration my team is always dumb af, whereas the enemy team is always balanced in the sense that they all have similar kills and low deaths because they play well. I just had a game where I was 19-4 and lost because I will kill 4-5 ppl per round and die to the final guy because they see me shoot and everyone rushes to me. Then my whole team will die to like 2 ppl. It feels like I’m cursed when it comes to pubs. Can’t wait for ranked to come out and hopefully I get better randoms. MW2 I was able to get top 500 a few times.
That's because skbmm by itself isn't bad. What's bad is that they also incorporate team balancing. So if u have a good kd and won the last match or 2, your next team is going to have people below your lvl, but have at least half the enemy team around yours.

I had a weird stint the other night where my sbmm wasn’t working and I averaged a 4 KD across like 8 games and then went back to my normal crimson skin lobbies. Made me realize how bad most of the cod player base is lol.
it literally feels like a miracle when you get into a normal lobby. you feel like god. next lobby, back to crim/iridescent players.
I kinda use the 2nd method. I don’t session join but I just join my bot account’s party and search normally. Gives a great mix of skill in each lobby and hardly no packet bursts.

Sledgehammer should adjust xp earned and stack kill streaks with addition streak options. Just like advanced warfare. That a major fun factor missing. Play domination. Play adjectives. Earn point towards killstreak get kills along the way. Uav streak that whole active. Your team mates get a kill score helps earn towards killstreaks. That's the end all be all to players not play adjectives. Makes killstreaks better . Plus add scores streaks fir ppl who die can still get additional help

The amount of sweat in all of the lobbies is crazy....always like one player who is by far more sweaty with those 40 kill games while everyone else on both teams is less than 1.0 KD and that one guy is 3 plus
Geo filtering doesn't work. You'll just have longer wait times in the lobby between games.

Played custom lobbies with a group of 10. Most of us a decent. But it just amazed me how much smoother snd easier the gunfights where compared to sbmm multiplayer lobbies. There ls definitely somthing shady going on.

this isn sbmm it is abusing itt to force ur self against low rated players, tutrning it off would sprinkle randomly rated players, some matches insanely hard, some super easy, some close etc etc. with it being in the code there aint no turning it off unless they do so

You can use VPN on any game to get easier lobbies. Cod, Fortnite, Apex, etc. People get “insane games for content to post” because it’s literally bot lobbies.

Before I get to my point just wanna say I love you marksman, have watched you for years, will continuing watching you in the future! That being said you have complained for years that skill base matchmaking needs fixed, now that it’s fixed we are less than a year in and you’ve admitted to buying another copy of cod to be able to play “causal” games to dominate everyone in the lobby with ease. I can’t say I’m surprised, being in sweaty lobbies all the time is definitely annoying and can be stressful but that’s what you asked for.

Playing a noob lobby is not the same as no sbmm. The sbmm still exists except its matching lower standard players. In a real lobby without sbmm there would be players of all standards so the other team should at least have 1 or 2 good players

It’s true. My girl recently started playing and she’s not good yet so if I play on her account I go off lol and if I play with her on my account I notice the lobbies are slightly easier. Team balancing is still a thing so there’s always at least one or two sweats on the other team but for the most part I still get high KD games even if I host with her in the party.

Yo I’m new to Call of Duty so I have a question. So my internet consistently puts out 25-30 ping. On the game it makes me play anywhere from 40-55 ping. Is this a setting problem or even my internet? I’m very confused.
