That line by Rick Ross went over a lot of people's head. Ross was basically mimicking Drake who's always saying to dudes he's got more money than them. The reason why it’s hard for a lot of new schoolers to understand the ghostwriting thing is….you guys don’t buy albums, you don’t do the knowledge on hiphop, you don’t read the credits & you don’t understand that in a lot of cases you can trace the flow. A lot of fans are gullible. If people looked at the credits on drakes albums you would see all the names listed as writers & producers. In most cases there will be multiple names listed in the credits. Unless there was a side deal for a NDA (non disclosure agreement), which is why Beyonce has credits for songs she never wrote. Young money, Jas prince, cash money, universal, the song writer, the songs producer, and the studio engineer all get paid in the chain of command before the artist. If the business is correct. That’s why people need to understand how the music industry really works & not how they “think” it works. Fans buy into a lot of bs their fav sells them.
