Wow. Now that is a video that everyone should be interested in seeing. I have a Martin HD-28 and D-28 Marquis. While the Martin sounded big and warm, the Yamaha gave it a run for it's money. In the end, the Martin wins by a fair margin to my ears. I have the opportunity to but a 1972 Yamaha FG-75. I just might do it! Can you tell me if the Yamaha you have still has the plastic nut and saddle of were they changed to bone? Amazing playing by the way. I am jealous! Liked and subscribed! You deserve it!!!
Don’t know the FG75 1. I think anything Yamaha are really good guitars. They’ve been tried and true. Can’t go wrong with. I try to play anything first. But I do buy online also and been happy with everything. Good luck 👍

I put a bone/nut saddle and ebony bridge pins on the FG-75 .Very low saddle cause it need a neck reset ..but plays ok for it's age! thanks

What is D standard, drop D?
Tune your low E to D and the rest by ear to that. Also google D standard tuning. It will show you.
