Just found this video. Excellent camera work and editing! The music was most appropriate. The Vancouver 27 is a great boat in heavy airs, a real ocean going pocket cruiser. I have an Islander Bahama 30, more of a coastal cruiser for sure, but I have no intention of going off shore. From your video the Channel looks similar to the Salish Sea and Juan de Fuca Strait where I sail, including the deep sea vessels. I'm looking forward to another sailing season as winter starts to retreat!
Hi, nice vid. I am interested to know if the stainless handle bars on the companionway entrance were specially made, or if they are perhaps a stock item available somewhere. Thanks
Thanks! The handles were fitted a long time ago and neither by me nor the previous owner. If I had to guess, I'd say they were custom made, since they fit the companionway rather neatly.

Great video, thanks for sharing 👍
Sascha I hope Sea Mist found her way back out to the ocean , she will take you anywhere you want to go.
Nice filming. The sound of the sea wind, and even motor are much nicer to the ear than that awful excuse for Muzak though.
Thanks for sharing! Hope to own a 27 or 28 in the near future ⛵ !
Best of luck! The V27 is by far the gentlest boat I've ever owned
Me too 👍

I love sailing, had a Pearson 28 and seafarer 36........
I have to say (@00:25), that's a 'crappy' spot for the head......imho
