Great work done by all on this one. It never gets old bringing to light the issues that these animals face. It could not be made more evident just how important the generational influence is from doe to fawn, and its hard not to recognize the the influence the Eastman family has had on the subject through their own generations. Well done, fellas! Thank you for having us along on this one.
Great to see the life's work of Gordon and Mike pushing for preservation of our great traditions and having the next generations of Eastman's taking the reigns. Keep pushing the awareness (and hunt videos).
Its great to see a group of real hunters enjoying the greatness of wildlife. Glad to hear it in your voices that you speak from the heart. You are in the "awe" of the hunt...,legally. There is nothing like being honest while hunting and the comradery of a hunt, especially with family and friends.
@@EastmansHuntingJournals positive feedback is nice especially in these times. My dad taught 4 of us to hunt the right way. Year to year we were taught to work hard and hunt harder, ethically and morally. We sure miss him as he passed 9 years ago. It feels as it was yesterday. I know what you mean about keeping mule deer around. We get it. We advocated and pushed a 3 point rule on our whitetail for years. We finally got it. For trigger happy hunters, this saves the younger bucks to become older and wiser. It is working. Our location here in the Catskill Mountains of N.Y. needed this law in place to help the whitetail. Love watching your show. I am almost 60 and remember as a boy watching the tv show, wild kingdom. Miss those days.
Great video, you can really see how than info would be beneficial. I wish Montana fish and game would get with the program and do more for our mule deer.
Ken Balough 👍👍 thanks for watching! And we appreciate the feedback. There’s more to come about deer migration. Give us a subscribe and you won’t miss it!
Great job guys we have to save it now. It truly help if they neighboring states would do the same. I'm pretty frustrated with Idaho and not trying to preserve guilty bucks. They let every unit get over hunted and all the small bucks get shot every year so there are no big bucks.
There building up every where most people don’t give a shit there attitudes are there just deer they’ll move what you guys are doing for them is incredible keep up the good work I wish they would pay attention to our herds need here in western Pennsylvania it’s bad out here
Rob Shipley development definitely has an impact on our deer populations and wildlife across the country. This makes efforts like the Wyoming Migration Initiative that much more important by gathering the knowledge we need to move forward with development in a responsible way that allows wildlife to thrive too!
Ben Lundell 👍 thanks for watching! Great question too. You can help in some easy ways! Just talking about migration with friends and family is a good start. We need to let people know how important these corridors are to the long term health of our wildlife. We also recommend you get involved with your favorite local conservation group. Volunteer hands on the ground can make a huge difference when it comes to putting a conservation project into action! Or you can give to the mule deer conservation work of the Wyoming Migration Initiative. Every dollar donated through the link below goes directly into conservation research and corridor conservation, not toward any administrative tasks. muledeer.org/wyoming-migration-initiative/ We appreciate your help!
orangektmkid great question. Elk tend to be the ungulate that consistently gets hit the hardest by wolves. However, as opportunistic as they are plenty of them on the winter range as well as fawns in spring are likely eaten or killed by wolves.
Watched Eastmans for years. 59 years old and very tired of watching irresponsible and accountability of our college educated entities and normal trigger happy poachers who help in lowering numbers of our herds of deer. Shoot em all attitudes and selfish greed of shooters is disgusting. Animals want to live. A trophy ia in the person behind the trigger. Trophies to one is different to one person to the other. Our generations ahead are important. Young people are the most important to bring up with knowledge of right from wrong.
The Eastman's are a class bunch, we owe them alot for keeping the Wyoming Mule deer relevant...
As usual, top quality gents! Never get tired of seeing those giant winter range bucks, especially the old time hunting footage!
2five7 glad you enjoyed it!

BaseMap - GPS App and Outdoor Community hopefully we can make a difference and keep the corridors in tact!!!

We appreciate the feedback 👍 Glad you enjoyed this video! There’s more on the deer migration to come, and definitely a bunch of hunting videos 😆
Hunt videos are always a favorite!
I have always enjoyed the Eastman narrative and excellent video production.
JOHN SIMONELLI 👍 thanks for the kind feedback. We appreciate you sticking with us over the years!
Very solid video. Cheers to conservation!!!

We appreciate the feedback. 👍 Let’s pass it on and keep mule deer for generations to come
This is very well done. I really wish I lived in Wyoming so I could become directly involved in these efforts. Again, well done!

hmmm no mention of the wolves dropping these deer like flies
Are the Wolf’s impacting the high country bucks?

Great thoughts but we don't need every Joe watching these animals year around as Mike says. Lets them have their space in the winter and spring.
