ABOUT MAGNUM P.I.:
Thomas Magnum is a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, becomes a private investigator in Hawaii. A charming troublemaker and a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan, Magnum solves tough cases with his ex-MI6 partner Juliet Higgins, and when he needs backup, he calls on his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, T.C. and Rick, to bring the heat. With keys to a Ferrari in one hand, aviator sunglasses in the other and a few Mai Tais on the way, Thomas Magnum is always on the case.

Season 5 broke all records, and we, as millions of viewers around the world, loved it. Magnum PI was crafted with so much heart. It’s brilliant and successful, and it needs more seasons. For diversity and the portrayal of veterans with all these marvelous characters. The values of selflessness& helpfulness & friendship & brotherhood etc. are represented in such a magical way. The audience found themselves in these fantastic characters & excellent written stories that provoked thought, made you laugh or sent you a Hawaiian hug through the screen. Bring it back.
And there would be even more if we were all served in the same way….
Beautifully said, Ellen! This is my favorite television series because of the drama, action, humor, romance and humanity. I love the diversity. The display of respect of Hawaiian culture is wonderful. The salute to the military is fantastic. The MPI writers are great story tellers. I love the development of the characters. The actors are talented and portray these characters beautifully. As a viewer I am so drawn in to the stories that I feel like I am part of the Ohana. I wish a streaming service would come to the rescue. MPI is a "feel good" show! Viewers need more of this.

I am very sad to see Magnum P.I end 😢. The cast was great and the stories were interesting to watch 😊. Some people don't need any.mote violence in their lives. Please NBC reconsider canceling Magnum P.I PLEASE!!!

Yes please don't cancel Magnum PI. I love the show so much and I want to see a happily married Magnum and Higgins. I want Higgy to get her happily ever after. She and Magnum deserve that. Not to mention it is one of the best and most entertaining shows out there. True Fan. Don't cancel it. Alot of people would not be happy.

Watched this with my 11yr old son. we loved it and it was such good bonding time discussing the themes the show raised. He is heartbroken that it's over but i guess that is another life lesson.

While I would've enjoyed another season, we're fortunate to have gotten what we did. Out of the 120+ shows that were canceled/ended this past year, two-thirds of them only lasted 3 seasons or less. Magnum was one of the few that was 5 seasons or more. But *fingers-crossed* we'll have a reunion movie in the future🙂
MagnumPI is simply amazing! We need the Ohana back on TV!! Please reconsider your decision.

This show needs to come back, rarely do you ever like every character in a show but this is one of them where I did. Even characters who weren’t in it for long like lia and the detective who got blown up. Not one to really care about a couple getting together or not but the whole time I wanted Higgins and Magnum together so bad, would have liked to see them eventually get married. There wasn’t one bad or boring episode for me l, I really enjoyed them all

I will definitely miss this series and the meaningful stories, Magnum’s wit and Higgins’ smartness and skills and overall the great lessons of friendship the whole team exhibited inside the show. One of my fav scenes was the karaoke one singing I will survive. good bye for now, hopefully it will come back sometime later!!!!

Such a great show with characters who have heart and sparkle! Each one grew so much over the past 5 seasons. The show brought such joy to my life, and it had a terrific run. I wish the cast and crew all the best for the future!

I'm so angry at NBC for canceling #MagnumPI after the 1st 10 episodes. You didn't really give them a chance. Give them a chance for a proper ending. I supported NBC after saving MPI & added a Peacock subscription. I will not watch another NBC show & my Peacock is canceled. NBC went from hero to zero 🤬🤬
Yea it certainly was to us in Australia , just not enough Violence in it didn’t have CSI in front of Magnum .

Extremely disappointed that NBC failed this show. You saved it only to exile it to a lousy timeslot with a deadbeat lead in, then abruptly canceled it after calling it an asset & promising to grow the show. Absolutely ridiculous.

Such a great show! Very disappointed to see it cancelled after one season split into two parts. When the old gross version is compared to this beautifully made love story, I can't watch the creepy cringey series from the days of oily matted body hair and walrus 'staches. Yuck.
For me Magnum is done and dusted. It didn't end like I expected it to. But anyway we've watched shows end more disappointing. I guess you could've at least dedicated the last episode for everyone to sort out their lives or something

This is the most moronic/out of the blue/let's find an ending...any "suitable" ending for a series I've come across. And it makes it all the worse because IT IS A VERY GOOD SERIES.
