The way we go from relatively simple mechanisms to the Pegasus reminds me of those “How to Draw” posts that say “Step 1: Draw a Circle, Step 2: Draw the rest of the F***ing Owl”
Just video I needed but didn't know I was looking for... I love how the use of the music shows an audio display of the timing of the mechanism at the end..coolest video man
I love your work What i feel automa is supposed to do is bring a series of marbles up one at a time and drop the marbles one by one into a bucket attached to the spring and once there is enough the marbles makes the spring rewind and releases the marbles so they continue the process essentially making perpetual motion Id like to know if you would try such a thing Thanks so much for your video
Excelente trabajo, ¿puedes compartir el mecanismo del Pegazo para que lo realicen mis alumnos tanto en su clase de mecánica como en la de dibujo?, gracias
very nice indeed, but the house in the end is powerd by a spring of some sort thats why is just keeps going, and the reson it is going up and down is because the extra weight placed on the big cog makes the thing unbalanced and that makes it swing
Three and a half million views of some dude cranking wooden mechanisms and a magical mechanical horse at the end? Are you serious youtube!? Although that horse was pretty cool.
This is good. Have you seen my book Figures in the Fourth Dimension, Mechanical movement for Puppets and Automata? It is a kind of preK through post-Doc test on building mechanical movement. Ellen Rixford
@rendered555 Two words Counterweight and resistance are why They Made the balance perfect That back gear has a everyday old-fashioned music-box core and that makes it run (note the Cranking) that makes the gear rotate and run the system (and they say people need degrees).
Did you make the Flying Pegasus Automaton at 1:07 ? I think the way it moves is very beautiful and would love to try an create something like it as a gift. Can you explain how the counter balance works with the up and down motion? I've seen another one of these (in the reply videos) that bangs up against the top... and it's not as elegant as yours. Thanks!
Superbe cheval (what horse!) Pourrais-je avoir des photos de toutes les faces? (Could I have pictures of all sides?) ou bien les plans! (or planes!) best regards from France
I agree. I am blind and until I read these comments I didn’t know what these automata were. A little commentary about each piece and their mechanisms would go a long way.

The key is in the three smaller gears
instablaster...
can´t stop watching the pegasus mechanism! so beautiful!
Ikr well it's more cool if you were actually a Pegasus pony from mlp like me
How tf can you watch something in 240 p
is it perpetual`?
@@johannnespaul4300 no? *There are no perpetual machines*
the Pegasus is truly mesmerizing, a work of art.
Most of these types of videos are animated. It's nice to see these creations in wood.
this is great, is there drawings/plans for these mechanics? this is superb stuff!
Just video I needed but didn't know I was looking for... I love how the use of the music shows an audio display of the timing of the mechanism at the end..coolest video man

I believe the artist who designed the Pegasus automaton was Akira Murakami.
Ok
WOW!! The Pegasus is amazing!
How can over 500 people give this a thumbs down! This is superb work by highly skilled artisans. I loved watching this video, thank you for posting.
They removed it💀
1:04 boy, that escalated quickly
Are you still alive?
@@asolollol1866 Hell yeah
@@EinfachArtur thats rad
These are so simple they're genius. Great video and great projects. That last one is amazing!
Excelente trabajo, ¿puedes compartir el mecanismo del Pegazo para que lo realicen mis alumnos tanto en su clase de mecánica como en la de dibujo?, gracias
that's a truly well elaborate Pegasus mechanism
Exquisite! I don't even dare to dream of producing something so beautiful... but I'll still try!
Beatufl person who show us all his thought and efforts. V all Love you. Thanks
素晴らしいカラクリの数々素晴らしいです!
The cross one blew my mind. But the Pegasus was so fucking adorable.
where can i find the plans for this masterpiece?? it's fantastic
Very cool video and very nice reference with all the different mechanism shown clearly at the beginning thank you :)
The horse is amazing.
I thougt that I was high at 0:40 to be so amazed by that mechanism but seriously this is sick!
having a lot of difficulties working out how the Pegasus works, wish there was a close up shot of this.
Ahh I see that the algorithm has brought us together fellow stranger.
It’s a pleasure to be here.
Woww, so beautiful! Do you have some course or do you know where can I find sources for learning to create this type of mecanisms? Thank you!
Nice work on pegasus, id love to have one. For me. As an adult designer.
The last one: Dream of perpetual motion
Very interesting these works, I'm inventor
Te sigo desde hace mucho y te vine a encontrar aquí? Wow, que curioso

This gives me inner peace :)
Engineering is more than a religion.😎
Especially 0:54 what a soothing mechanism
Amazing..... awesome....when horse begin music my eyes have tears jajajaja

jajajajaj?
Very nice! The pegasus was very impressive.
I just love your mechanisms made of wood. So perfect and eye catching.

I like the horse because it seems that it is alive.
It would be great if the videos present how to make it.
Fantastic Pegassus!, Thank you!
The flying horse is excellent. I would like to make one out of metal.

Although that horse was pretty cool.
Please give all details of the horse mechanism. Make a video on that. What is the measurement of parts with drawing in pdf.
Awesome!!!! Blessed with a brilliant brain. Keep it up.

Ellen Rixford No but I’ve searched for the title online and now I’m very interested in buying a copy.
Could somebody please tell me the name of the fourth mechanism?
Nice Video...
DUDEEE,I LOVE THE HORSE ONE!!!^___^ sweet mechanisms!!!^____^
The pegasus one is really cool.
What is causing the horse mechanism to keep going?
ele aperta alguma mola aos 1:04
Perhaps the transfer of weight.

Absolutely beautiful.. what else can i say? simply brilliant piece of art..
Allow me to ask you as well. How does the icky direction transform the comparison?
Awesome. Very nice. I gonna try to make it.

Mechanism name is "Elliptical trammel" since it traces an elliptical path

what were the dimensions of those gears on the music box?
