Cut the inside seams on that hybrid bracket that holds your cables . Bend the one side back a little bit for all gears . Your cable isn't getting enough pull for reverse. You can bend the other side some for more throw .

Hey my 93 accord has a hydro trans, To pop it in reverse I gotta somtime shift it into 5th or 1st and then back to reverse, I think it's just a honda thing but all my gears work and sometime I gotta give reverse a good slam to get it to work, Don't stress over it bro
I had to do a similar thing on my UK EF B16 with cable gearbox, if I got some resistance trying to go in reverse or 1st, I would go into 2nd before reverse or 1st.

Looks like the bracket on top of the transmission where the shifter cable goes is hitting the housing when you try to put in reverse maybe unbend it or adjust it so it has room for the reverse to go in

It's a Honda thing...i shift into 4th then into reverse and never had any problems... had to do it when i had an eg back in the days and i do it with my ek that i own now. Hope that helps!

I had the same problem with shifting in to gear when the car is not moving. The trick is to shift it when the engine is reving.
Check copper washer to fuel rail. Depending in the bolt/ cap u have to hold down the fuel line u could have the wrong washer.

A pop up carport next to your paint booth would help with the honda storage. Even though you probably dont care 😂 fuel filter, blow out the line. Dont think it's the mechanical gauge. Or fuel pump sock may be clogged. Only so many things with the fuel. Almost there, can still drive it with no reverse, Atleast its not a heavy truck.

So drop the trans again and the pivot ball that the throw out bearing arm pivots on take that off and put a couple thin washers behind it or one normal one behind it and then reinstall the trans and try it again this will help the throw out bearing put enough pressure on the clutch to allow it to go into all the gears properly

Turn the shaft then side into gear… same thing while driving . Move slightly forward then reverse. Vice versa.. no first put in reverse move slightly backwards then first.. lining the gears. My wagon does this . Notice u never rotate the shaft Hope it helps. 🔥

You need to look up those springs for the transmissions for shifting it goes in the transmission and look up I'd stick with that won an rebuild it and check the fluid and use full synthetic valvoline 10w30 5w30 is what I did it will lube up what others normal wont 21:02
put the intake on. between it sitting, fuel filter, screen etc and having to relearn u definitely want the intake on. once the trans is sorted it will work it self out during the drives. the main problem will hide until then

Does creamy have the same shift linkage as an eg or ek? If so, check out all the components of the linkage while he is trying to put it into reverse. Linkage could be slapping something when he's throwing it in reverse

Well making an attempt is important too. I suggest throwing a B series trans on it. Pull the line off the fuel pump and use the compressor to blow through the line just to make sure there is no clogs inside and see if you can visually check for kinks in the hardline. Best of luck man👍😎

Have you checked the detent springs ? This video is old idk you will see this now or is the shifter mechanism on the trans itself messed up?
So I saw the part where he messed with the selector , buuut a buddy of mine had this issue on his dseries transmission , come to find out the screw that held the springs in started to mushroom and didn’t allow it to go into gear
front will settle right just throw some cement bags that match your weight in the passenger seat while it settles. a couple thousand miles
Try looking into shipping containers they drop them off like roll offs.

Open up the ECU and make sure none of the capacitors are leaking or anything else looks burnt or discolored. ECU can be a culprit to the lean issue
Did you put oil in the gearbox sometimes you forget to put the oil in the gearbox

Fuel problems:
Have your friend clean the injectors and check fuel pump sock. High pressure and lean makes me think injectors.
Put a b16 trans in the integra. H f series trans suck compared to b series

I appreciate the good content! Keep on killin it! Competition clutch all day ftw! The staged competition clutch is harder to drive in traffic an stuff tho. My stage 2 six puck just grabs there ain't no slipping. So on my 2nd ef sedan I went with an OEM style competition clutch myself and it's smooth as butter even being a b series cable trans. I've used O'Reilly's clutches also tho and never had a problem.
