At 6:54 my fingers are crossed. It's not the ends but the middle area I'm worried about. And... no problems mentioned. Well done. A perfect result. Just remember never to do it that way. Haha.
I’ve never understood the fear personally. The middle is fully supported. The glue lines might break but they are generally stronger than the timber. It does do a number on the blades though! Blunts em real quick! But had no dramas at all, went through a number of times and all 👌
@JNDCreations you've got a good method for sure. The results prove it. I've seen it not work but I never asked what they did exactly. It could be the things you didn't do that caused their problems and, of course, as always, the type of timber they were using.
@@JNDCreations starting my first one hopefully this weekend. Iv just found your channel but can see many hours watching down the track. Good to finally find an Aussie and not always have to hear measurements in inches 🤣
Awesome work mate looks amazing, love a chaos endgrain cutting board, I just recently finished doing a chaotic endgrain lazy susan totally worth the time and effort
Didn't miss the intro, if you hadn't mentioned it I probably wouldn't have noticed. The board... can't miss that! What a cracking result. I think that was enough times through the tablesaw for the effect. I also wouldn't bother having justified your methods... now the trolls have an excuse not to engage with the video :P hahahahahaha
First, anyone who says not to put endgrain through a planer (thicknesser as you call it) shouldn't be making comments in this "woodworking community" you reference. Your precautions were more than adequate. Second...did that bad boy take that whole bottle of Kustom Liquid Wax?
It’s a heated topic of conversation in so many groups I’m part of 😂 It wouldn’t fit in my oil bath unfortunately, so it did chew up most of the bottle haha
Very chaotic, love all the different colours of timber
Thanks mate! They really are a unique board!
beautiful
Thanks mate!

Now that sounds like a cool venture… I’m sure I’ve got a lazy Susan bearing or 2 lying around 🤔😂
Couldn't find anything here on UA-cam that supports this idea so I came up with my own way of doing it

I just don’t think I’m built for this UA-cam gig mate 😂😂😂
I reckon "Chaos" is your middle name, just love endgrain cutting boards. Cheers
Very well could be mate 😂😂
