The plans Governor Sakaja has for Nairobi and Kenya is a notch above level. When Kenyans see him as the next president, I can't say less. I'm only afraid his growing popularity might pose as a threat.

Please amend the city laws to allow the apartment builders to recarpet, re-do and even light the roads leading to their new apartment blocks privately. If the City does not have the money, let private companies help you by adapting this roads without penalizing them...All this colonial laws in your books should be abolished.

Good Ideas and seemingly good focus and determination. I wish you the best and hope you succeed Governor. Lakini this PPP idea ya conference center at the Green Park bus stop land, requires some ufafanuzi. All major cities that do conferencing big time, own the conference centers and always expand them every so often to meet demand. That is revenue that the city will require over the long term, way beyond your tenure. Please don’t hand it over to some private entity to own for 99 years on lease. Get loan at good terms and pay from the good revenues that will come from renting the conference facilities. It won’t take 99 years to pay off the loan. You can benchmark major conference cities like Orlando, San Francisco etc. Overall a good Idea if not handing over public land to private companies for them to benefit and the public get the short end of the deal.
