- Sakaja Johnson: We agreed on designated spots for pickups or taxi drop-offs. If you are dropping or picking up somebody at an undesignated area and are arrested, it’s not harassment; it’s enforcement. There must be order.
That’s why we need to vote more young people into office kudos to the people of Nairobi
I believe Sakaja has more than just a calling into leadership.
This man must be protected at all costs.
Good Job Mheshimiwa👍
The plans Governor Sakaja has for Nairobi and Kenya is a notch above level. When Kenyans see him as the next president, I can't say less. I'm only afraid his growing popularity might pose as a threat.
You, others and others should not let him down. God choose His when no one notice. Pia wewe ubarikiwe because you are here for good. ❤
I am absolutely in love with this new leadership from the president to the Nairobi governor, A*
This man is going far, he's thinking outside the box
Keep winning mheshimiwa, I wish Kenyans will one day consider this great gentleman as president
A leader exists to inspire - Saks, you are on the right path. I am so excited to lend my expertise to this City
There is a new crop of emmerging leadership that is giving me hope as a Kenyan. Keep it up Governor
The fact that Governor Sakaja knows the details shows he knows what he is talking about. He is the FUTURE of Kenya. Not only Nairobi
I could listen to Governor Saks the whole day. Super governor. Just listening to the achievements done in just eight months is insane. Wow
Nairobi has been waiting for Sakaja since 1994.
Please amend the city laws to allow the apartment builders to recarpet, re-do and even light the roads leading to their new apartment blocks privately. If the City does not have the money, let private companies help you by adapting this roads without penalizing them...All this colonial laws in your books should be abolished.
Good point!
Let support Sakaja he has his best interests for Nairobi
I just like this Man..at any chance.. you deserve the best.
You're a good leader, please don't change, continue that way.
ABSOLUTELY! Super Governor!
Let all with one accord
In common bond united
Build this our nation together
And the glory of Kenya
The fruit of our labour
Fill every heart with thanksgiving 🇰🇪
Alafu kuna mtu anaelect Sonko kama Governor mahali...he wasted the cities time.. Thank you Govenor Sakaka, you are Respectable
Gods timing is the best 🙏
God has appointed him for such a time you can be sure now he is ready for the job 😊😊
What has he done so far , talkers aren’t good leaders
😂😂
Awesome debate…Saks….you never disappoint or struggle to answer any given question….bravo bro!!!!
so proud of HE Gorvernor Johnson Sakaja for understunding the livehood of Haukers ,May GOD BLESS HIM so much
God bless and keep you healthy and safe. This is the leadership we need
Move without any fear Mr. Governor, God is fighting your battles
I wish they allowed NMS to continue with the Cabroworks in the city.
The building of sidewalks ended when Sakaja came into office. To bring ORDER, the Governor should prioritize on these 5 items ASAP...
1. Street Hawking 2. Matatus/Bodabodas regulation 3. Garbage collection 4.Recarpeting of inner city streets. 5. BRT implementation.
My friend it was a good work BUT you can't put them without a plan wait and you will see them being removed when putting up Nairobi railways
Wanton corruption and parochial personal interests was the order of the day.
This guy is just a sweet talker
Sakaja is the kind of leadership we need as a country..inspiring, action-based, results oriented.
Middle class na all working Kenyans need to mobilise around this man when he runs for President 🎉
That's good job our governor keep it up and I will ask you please do something in chiromo mortuary where by the environment is smelling so bad please 🙏
My governor any day any time
I will still vote for him whichever position he asks for
😊❤
Bring makueni governor plz.
And bring them together here and let's hear them out
Passionate and focused guys
We need more Sakajas in Kenya for the country to move forward.
Wonderful job Gov. Sakaja
Sakaja is the best for this country we need such people in this kenya of ours we have a lot to learn from him as the young Kenyans 🙌 thanks man
Sakaja can do it. Riggy G should stop interfering with governor Sakaja's plan for Nairobi. The young man has a clear vision.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident!
Stay true Governor!!!
Governor Sakaja, "The Nairobi We Want Report", thank you for resurrecting this document. We worked so hard during that Conference. Please implement it! We are praying for you.
God willing, our next President!
super governor we love you keep your head up high, husitishwa na cartels we are behind you
Good Ideas and seemingly good focus and determination. I wish you the best and hope you succeed Governor. Lakini this PPP idea ya conference center at the Green Park bus stop land, requires some ufafanuzi. All major cities that do conferencing big time, own the conference centers and always expand them every so often to meet demand. That is revenue that the city will require over the long term, way beyond your tenure. Please don’t hand it over to some private entity to own for 99 years on lease. Get loan at good terms and pay from the good revenues that will come from renting the conference facilities. It won’t take 99 years to pay off the loan. You can benchmark major conference cities like Orlando, San Francisco etc. Overall a good Idea if not handing over public land to private companies for them to benefit and the public get the short end of the deal.
we love you man of God with such a big heart of serving people . Sakaja keep it up and we are behind you.
Mr. Sakaja kindly let the Nairobi water employ some new plumbers...we are out here without jobs and we qualify for this
Sakaja my next presdent, sifuna my deputy, period
Mutula kilonzo will be a force to recon if they combine.
Wow.I wish him all the best.He is working on the issues that are affecting Nairobians like sewerage systems and garbage which have been thorny issues.
change starts with the sovereign we the citizens so for easier and faster change we have to be the ones willing to assist in implementing the change
Infact Sakaja is not a dirty politician he is a born Administrator and a leader like no other and infact if politicians do less noisy and more action Kenya would have become a middle economy economy by now
This is the leadership we beg to have
Good job Sakaja. Had a body at the mogue last week and noted the changes. Nihil prater optimum
Maaan, hats off to your mam and dad, they gave birth to a a legend. Smart, brilliant, visionary, etc. You are better 10× conman mike sonko and kidero combined. GOD BLESS YOU
It's got nothing to do with age. We need to elect leaders who have proven themselves and are open to being held accountable. Notice how he is answering the questions..... He can relate to you and me. He understands what hasn't worked and why and is working with others to achieve what they set out to change. Teamwork can work miracles.
Everything starts and falls with the leader. You are one of the few Visionary leaders that we have in the nation. It will be ideal to bring your team leaders to the same level - Visionary thinking for the future of Nairobi
He's a good governor for the people
Sakaja is the new Nairobi, bless up 🆙💯
Sakaja is supposed to be Nairobi governor for around forty years for him to accomplish
Governor sakaja could you please implement the law when doing housing development mandate the sewer, water drainage and roads to the development. It's not necessary that government should make roads. In America the developers do the roads even before a house or houses are put down.
Mr Sakaja, oh how l wish you became Nairobi governor 5 years ago, Nairobi would be a Hollywood class, shinning star of Africa continent l believe we still have that chance with you as a governor. I like your brilliant smart ideas, down to earth great attitude. Keep it up governor. Stay smart, focused and blessed. Good job!!
he still have 10 years
JOHNSON SAKAJA FOR PRESIDENT 2027❤💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪🙏💪💪💪💪🙏 MUNGU MBELE IT'S POSSIBLE WHY NOT AND OUR PRESIDENT WAS DP AND NOW PRESIDENT,, IT'S POSSIBLE.THIS MUST WORK ❤
Let's own our city by doing it right from the kitchen Separate wet carbage from dry ones for easy dispossal. Let us keep the city clean
Bots in the comment section praising and Nairobi is still the same.2050😂
This guy is smart, don’t argue, give Caesar what it belongs to Caesar🥳
You need to clean up the city of Nairobi.
am in agreement with the governor but must we borrow the money?
I support Sakaja, and please introduce the waste management curriculum in the city.
I am very skeptical. The school feeding program is not as critical as healthcare. Look at the recent budget. Most money is going to the feeding program.
Our future president
Sakaja means well. The fast talk is typical of politicians though. All talk and no action
There's a committee and commission for everything in this 3rd world country.
How about fines for littering! Some things are simple and will yield results
Our super leader we love you
Kwa ground vitu n different ,,, hawkers wanauzia mpaka city hall good job
come 2027 it will still be the same story, if he is showing what he has done in the last 1 year I would listen. He is just a convincing politician
People like Sakaja gives me hope for the future
2nd Avenue New Nyali Mombasa, was like Beverly Hills, very beautiful and clean. Only single family homes, and then some greedy corrupt uneducated individuals started building apartments everywhere !!! Demolishing awesome homes and building apartment buildings. Really grinds my gears, whatever happened to zoning laws?
Keep up Governor.. Ignore the naysayers.
If you could restore order and adherence to Nairobi's zoning laws that would be fantastic. Let us build neighbourhoods that people are proud to live in. Halafu ongeza miti kwa barabara na extend sidewalks we can't be having people walking in the road. Let our streets be nice and beautiful bana
This man is crazy on Kanairo growth and development. Just wow Lazima iwork
Can you also investigate why the play ground which was used by Canon Apollo and Saint Paul primary schools in Mbotela estate were confiscated in the sixties.
Build a new capital for the three arms of govt, ministries, embassies. That's going to decongest NAI.
Good pr, but we shouldn't still be talking about plans 1 year down the line. PR seems to be the main focus of this government. We're tired of talk, let's see results
Unaongea na hakuna streetlights nairobi, from kamukunji to railways its dark, along the way u pass marikiti very smelly bad ,hawkers everywhere, mkokoteni, nairobi is just dirty kutupq takataka kila mahali no dustbins, nduthi gangs who steal from pedestrian and passenger,no drainage system, machakos bus station is just chaotic not organised qt all, deal with those before starting big costly project, fire station should be build and properly equipped
Exactly! Trash has become excessive, kwanza hapo kwa mkokoteni na nduthi; a nuisance. Ever since he got his seat, Nairobi has just gone from bad to worse. Huyu mtu ni kuongea tu mingi; a people pleaser. He should deal with what is on the ground first.
Sakaja is very articulate. I hope its not just rhetoric and that he will implement and execute what he is talking about. Lets wait and see if he will walk the talk. He talks good game, all concerned but am very doubtful about the execution of all his policies. Nairobi needs priority for water, garbage collection, roads, fighting crime, bringing sanity and Matatu menace. Child feeding programs should not be a priority. Set your priority right Sakaja.
Needs first. Food
@@jbNutrition School feeding programs is not a function of county government. This is not the work a governor should be doing for your information.
@@daveparko3519 that is the right think to do. Government should facilitate basic needs not wants like roads lol. Misplaced priorities my brother. He is doing something noble
@@jbNutrition Road is not a want you dummy it may not be a basic need but its a need
@@jbNutritionRoads are wants? Smh. Economies can't function without proper infrastructure. Your government should enable you to buy your own food, not give handouts
Bravo gavana, it's seems you have all basic content of all different departmental r/ ship..from water to drainage to construction to municipality ( the twins) ...then singing their implementation for the pple to benefits...hecko kwako.🎉
Way to go Governor.
He is intelligent and a visionary, he hopes he can deliver, we hope we can trust him because we have been in a toxic relationship with our government for decades. He comes on the heel of another leader, for mer NMS head General Badi, who did the best he could to move Nairobi forward, as controversial as NMS was, if he continues to do his best as did the genral before him then Nairobi might just become a functioning city
Super governor, Kenya is going a good way with a super president Dr William Ruto.
Governor sakaja i really like you as a person and your zeal for the responsibility God has given you. However am struggling to believe or even accept when you say that the president cares about Kenyans. We shouldnt judge but life teaches the hard way that actions speak louder than words.
2019-2021 Kenya was 1st economy power house, Nairobi city was 1st tourist destination in East Africa but now 2023 ..Ethiopia is 1st economy power house while Kigali has already pass Nairobi while Tanzania is closing up the gap!.....Kenyas we're wasting time na tribalism politics plus corruption
Nairobi should be expanded to become bigger to ease traffic jam and increase employment
you say vision 2050, my vision to this city is to have a train metro system and trams running underground and elevated viaducts fully automated and driverless every train runs 3 to 5 minutes spread across all metropolitan areas like doha and dubai metro, and the issue of hawking i dont agree with you sending them to back lanes didnt work before musikari kombo tried and failed pumwani hospital those flats near pumwani should be demolished it hospital land
You can't develop Nairobi without developing the houses, villages of people first,so first make education easy, clean water, hospitals to all Kenyan all over after develp Nairobi but when you're developing remember some people are born in Nairobi.
Nairobi water kindly connect sewerline in Mihango, bwana governor look into it we can't continue digging septic
This kind of intelligence needs to be protected by all means
The SGR would have terminated downtown by the old railway station. What we are doing now is catchup.
Hope this guy becomes the president some day
I think he will
the cleaning garbage is a good idea but where the waste eventually ends is also another prroblem they should also look into that
This should be our next president.period.
Sakaja must put in the effort because Sifuna is becoming a threat!!
Very cool leader.
haha Jeff that was soomme quick maths! Governor had to confirm twice in the head
Governor,
Some of can offer free advice on sustainable supply chain management
I wish him all the best...but with watu wakora, wezi everywhere, disorder everywhere, uchafu everywhere....sijui, but good luck.
Morning Jeff ask muheshimiwa to work on everyone in a sacco of bodaboda to have uniform like G4S but different colors each
His three Burroughs now feel like BARROWS. Hawkers galore na uchafu to boot.
This guy has Nairobi at his finger tips
Kizungu mingi, time will judge
