If she pick Shapiro it’s over. My dad is a big Trump guy but LOVES Shapiro and said he will vote for Harris if she picks Shapiro. Why would a Trump voter abandon Trump? Shapiro signed a bill that made it so some significant portion of state jobs don’t require a college degree. My old man landed one of those gigs at the age of 59.
Shapiro opened doors, actual opportunity doors, to non college educated people.
She should pick Shapiro and run on that policy. Where they can, they should remove the degree requirement from federal jobs and encourage states to do the same internally.
It would affect real change in working class lives while simultaneously bringing down future national debt tied to student loans. Why go to college if you can carve out a half decent living without a degree?
People are people, despite party. They want to have a purpose, be able to make rent, and have something resembling hope for the future. Shapiro has given it to ALOT of PA folks with a swipe of his pen. I suspect the country at large would be onboard a Harris/Shapiro ticket with this policy as a corner stone.
