The last chapter (139) solidified eren has my favourite manga and anime MC of all time, and my second favourite TV show MC of all time right behind Walter White. What a nuanced, morally complex, flawed and incredibly written character.

@surprisedpikachu I just checked and yes, s4 prison looks much darker and realistic like how a prison should be. (Eren looks like a fucking badass too), and yes again, imo too, the brightness in the Wit prison seems kinda forced? 🤷🏽♂️ Overall I still liked the bold outlines wit used cuz sometimes mappa draws the outlines so thin, there’s 0 border from the background and the human (especially that scene when Reiner wakes up shirtless)

I miss the iconic thicc pencil lines too, but the lighting in some parts, like at some scenes lighting felt like it was too overdone. My only problem with S4 is that at some scenes the facial proportions are pretty much gone, sometimes manbun eren or falco looks like megamind.
Why did they give him white eyes? They make him different for no reason and it's pissing me off. Also, imagine using so much cgi that people start thanking an anime studio for drawing a 2d character for a couple seconds.
His eyes are like that in the s4 portion of the manga too tbf, white with gray-ish iris sillhouettes. Though throughout the rest of the manga prior to the timeskip they were just white lol
