@RCE, I had to try this game after your first video and had luck getting all 10 trophies with the following:
Lvl 3 Cricket 35/38 + Melon (First)
Lvl 2 Rhino 21/24 + Garlic
Lvl 2 Peacock 42/46 + Garlic
Lvl 3 Giraffe 27/30
Lvl 2 Penguin 7/8 (Last)
The level 2 peacock with garlic is crazy!!!
It's a surprisingly powerful tactic into the mid game (and on to the late, under the right circumstances) for just 3 coins.
A great synergy in a build is the whale and the deer. The whale eats the deer at the beginning causing it to Summon the bus, then after the whale dies it spits out the deer that can again spawn another bus. It's also kinda funny to do with sheep as well
also works with the spider the same for the most part, maybe even more OP if you can get lucky with spiders summon.
Put a mushroom on the deer, so it Respawns as a 1/1 deer, which gets you a third bus
Put tiger on whale that kills the deer and it will kill the deer=bus whale dies gives 2 deer and the 2nd deer will double the bus....
That's it
I have not watched the video yet and never heard of the game. This is so absurd that I'm going to have to watch at least until this comes up

I'm dying at Matt's deer addiction. It worked out for the run, but that poor MVP kangaroo got done dirty.
Same here… I love Matt, but why u skip on otter in first rounds? Why remove kangaroo? Any is not so bad!!! Why meat not garlic before kanga? And so many times I was crying on rolls or buys ;)
I’m convinced that this is the most emotional and intense game I have ever witnessed. The heartbreak and brutal battle for a short triumph- it really tackles topics many are to afraid to acknowledge. Truly a masterpiece.
Kangaroo, Whale, Deer (in this order) usually grants 3 stacks for kangaroo and is a strong mid game combo.
I feel like Matt rolls too much in early game, imo it is better to spend all gold on units and food in the first two rounds. This way you get a strong early board and can be more flexible later when you start seeing better units.
Early-mid game its ok to mix and match strategies, but in the late game lack of team synergy will get you every time. At 4:04 you had the start of a summoning team with a buffer (Horse) and support (Dog) + 2 summoners (Spiders). When you got the Deer at 5:57 and rolled again to get Whale, that Whale should have been an insta-buy. Put the Whale behind the Deer and level them up for a pretty gnarly combo.

I mean, not really imo. Usually it's stats that win me games. Unless you're trying to win on turn 15+ or something. Especially if you can get team wide scaling it doesn't really matter what your units are after they've all got +20+20.
I personally would recommend going for more wide scaling
yes, the shark was a beefcake but it's more consistent to have more buffs on the entire team, even if none of them reach 50/50
Well, kinda depends. Early game it can be good to focus buffs. Because that can let you keep that unit into the mid-life game and give you the space to build up whatever it is that actually wins you the game. If you try and do like a horse build or wide scaling early you get stuck with a team that you can't afford to swap from and not strong enough to win the game. More often then not at least.
As long as your attack reaches at least 35 on a few pets since you need to punch through 50/50s with melon armor often.
One 50/50 with even just garlic can eat up 3 25/50s
the monkey is really good it gives +3/+3 every turn, the most consistent way of winning is by making huge animals and the monkey is an almost assured way of getting a really big one
You gave up melon armor. Buy the turtle, sleeping pill faints it, early game melon armor on the swan, it attacks an extra time, and your kangaroo becomes incredibly strong. And you gave up the monkey, which builds up your rightmost pet.
rushing 50/50 pets is about all you can do. and Garlic Armor is better then Mellon armor since its not just oneshot armor.
@@F14thunderhawk garlic is better till around round 9-14. After that melon armor all the way. Btw new super combo to use if you want to be ahead of the curve is tiger - gorilla. 2 coconut armors are nothing to scoff at. Blocks all damage, incredibly strong in late game against all 50/50s. Persobally I tend to win around round 14 so I don't run into maxed pets that often, especially multiple ones, so I haven't had much use for the combo, but I swear by it. Get tiger and gorilla asap and build around them. Ez 10-0-0

Should have given the sheep the mushroom so it would spawn another 2 rams, thus buffing the shark even more.
Elephant can be really good. Using an elephant build was how I won my first game (got 10 wins). What you can do is put an animal that has a when it takes damage ability behind the elephant (like the peacock, pufferfish or Camal). That way EVRY TIME the elephant attacks you get the ability triggered. It is my favorite build.

The Parrot is very good support for summoner teams. It is very versatile since you can freely switch which pet skill to copy.
Honestly stat building pets are the best for any build, especially the monkey as it can buff any pet to 50 50 very quickly, even moreso when it's a Buffalo and you have a lv 3 pet on your team
Matt, please buy the deer instead of holding onto it for 5 rounds in the future lol. You'd have been more likely to pick up another deer along the way
Try more scalers earlier in the match. The dog on turn 4 would have scaled nicely.
Doesn’t freezing a deer for like 5 rounds in a row end up costing a lot more as you lose a slot but roll cost is the same?
But you could also commit to something by buying it and never seeing it in a shop again.
@@measlesplease1266 well yea but something in your shop takes up space so if you're not seeing a situation where you buy something it's best to let it go and get something that will be a win condition.
The shark with a turkey and a fly is really op for a summoner build especially if you can get a tiger cub/parrot in the mix behind the shark or the turkey.
Mushroom deer is OP. Could swap out a fly to put big whale behind a deer for three big busses, since you can only summon three flies at a time as far as I know.
The splash damage would be insane!!
the camel infront of the kangaroo is op and putting a badger with honey at the back is really strong

I might have gone 1up sheep. It would give you 3 extra spawns/deaths instead of just 2 with the deer. Not that it would have changed anything for the last fight.
I also wouldn't go mammoth, because most of your friends don't get buffed, because they get spawned. But hey, you've played way more of this than me, maybe I'm wrong.

Peacock Elephant and Flamingo is so broken. Try it out pleasee. Because the flamingo can have crazy damage and when it dies it buffs both the elephant and the peacock behind it. Then the elephant can do good amounts of hits. Which hurts the peacock but the peacock is gonna buff itself
Don't sleep on the Whale: It's amazing put just behind a single summoner like a deer.

@@RealCivilEngineerGaming Always plan on changing your team. New acquisitions are almost always better than ones that have been around a few levels. E.g. that mammoth shoulda been retired four turns before you ran out of hearts.

If you go cat squirrel and bunny you can just spam buy food and get huge stats on your whole party. The last two slots just fill with whoever you feel like to do damage. I like to throw a pepper on my lead who ends up 50/50 and will roll through most teams

the turkey switch was a bad move i think and u shouldnt have frozen the deer for so long without using it.
And something for the editor: Zooming in soooooo much and sooooo many times in a game, with has basically no detail is just annoying. maybe zoom in a little bit, but dont fullscreen that one animal or item RCE is talking about.

The fact you put 99/99 on your thumbnail show you still have a lot to learn about SAP. Max HP/Atk is 50/50.
You should try and upgrade creatures to level 3, you could’ve levelled a few of you’re creatures if ya did
Early draws actually are bad. At the start of the game, it takes SIX losses to kill you. Later on, it only takes four to kill you and then some. Effectively drawing the first four rounds means you die much faster if you do start to lose.

I know nothing about this game but essentially I feel you undervalue upgrades and the boost foods I feel like your team just didn’t progress as quick because you looked for doubles of animals

He kept rolling the fly..... the mammoth, while good, is sort of an odd place out. If he replaced the mammoth with the fly. He would have had THE BEST summoning team. And just have to start buffing things after
The fly is so good with the shark as well, he missed so many good combos
I think that you should try to have a few different progressions, and then just get one lineup and stick with it, that way you can max what each is doing and get to higher tier stuff faster and wreck some people

I've taken several wins with penguin/rabbit. Also, getting a rabbit early on with a roo is great. A high health roo early on can easily grab a few trophies.

You passed over a fly when you had a shark. The fly would of given the shark so many buffs as you get a fly after each ally kill its a free better bee and knock out bonus for the shark everytime
