@@Martin-rh6bn Read the books. The movie was okay on it's own, but an absolute disgrace to the novels. They're possibly the greatest sci-fi series ever written, imo. Read them, you won't regret it.
@@Jrdn357 yeah I've read the books after I watched the film. Before I though that the film was merely meh, but after reading the books I was genuinely angry at the loss of opportunity they had. They had so much to work with and wasted it all
@@Martin-rh6bn I know right? The first half or so was actually pretty good (not nearly as good as the books, mind) but after that, it all went to shit. Katherine and Bevis' whole plot was basically erased. No investigation, no sneaking into the Engineerium to find out about MEDUSA, and there was NO FREACKING PANZERSTADTZ!!! I was so excited to see a city so big it could fit all of London in it's jaws, but they just cut the entire part. There was no plan with the bomb, no tragic Bevis death, no Hester getting caught and having Katherine sacrifice herself to save her. LONDON DIDN'T EVEN BLOW UP!!!! The entire 4th book revolves around that! Valentine never went on his mission to Shan Guo, and Valentine killed Crome! Valentine actually got a redemption arc in the books because Crome was the one truly behind it all. It was to the point that Hester tried to save him in the end. But no. All for what? Shock value? Because I was genuinely shocked when he murdered Crome, but it took so much away from the story. They cut the entire pirate town plotline, and Shrike dies on Airhaven? Wtf? Again, on it's own, the movie was okay. But it is garbage and a disgrace to the rich and wonderful story of the novels. This never should have been made into a movie, but a TV show, which could go in-depth to the themes and plotlines of this story. I could go on and on. It was just so upsetting to see one of my favourite series ever just ruined.
Literally the perfect genre I am shooting for in specific moments for the story I'm creating especially for a specific character group. Made my day! Now I can draw them to this!!

Probably due to both Hans Zimmer, composer for the Dark Knight trilogy, and 2WEI using ticking in their works, very similar sound yet both artists have their own styles when looked at closely.
This would be equally at home in a massive space battle with kilometers-long ships or armies numbering in the thousands clashing with swords. Thoroughly frigging epic.

Honestly it doesn't really fit anything from marvel or dc it doesn't have that whole superhero vibe to it more fantasy oriented and mythical like empires at war/someone trying to stop who's behind said war or an epic quest to vanquish some evil in a medieval or steampunk setting. Also they're right not everything has to be fit to the avengers
Wait so your telling me this music wasnt used in the wonder woman trailer. Like bruh. This was free real estate like literally, the similarities to this and Hans's theme of wonder woman in bvs is just 🤯 . My favorite soundtrack from them. love the crescendo in it, the crash, and the aggressive rise, this is serious composing.
Yes it is, never heard anything on this level before
It’s almost like 3 minutes of music was better than an entire movie

I love you guys. Thanks for these immortal music.
Loving the intensity and the slight piano bit! Hoping to hear more originals like this with some more piano and violins maybe!
This should get more attention :)

Stop with these getting Batman vibes. It is overused and cringe

Why is it always a problem with films, that the concept is amazing but the film turns out average. Still love the movie tho!

@Yuvraj Sinha exactly it fits things of that nature or some kind of fantasy world maybe i can't see any superhero movie being done using this.
