depends on your needs. acro is is water- and dust-resistant but only has a 1.5ghx dual core cpu. the sl has a 1.7ghz dual core cpu. both of their gpus are adreno 220. same 12.1mp camera. if you want a phone which is theoretically more durable, take the acro s. but if you are a person who can take care of the phone, wants a more powerful phone, then take the sl. im getting the sl cuz no one makes calls on the rain or go swimming with their phones :D
Basically yes. There are other differences but nothing radical. For example: Sl has: 1.camera with pulsed LED flash 2."WALKMAN" application 3.supports FLAC And a few other small differences. But those two things you just said are the main differences.
I have a problem after upgrading the system to 4.1.2. Now, my long press HOME button is for google search instead for the original multitasking. Can someone please help me fix this?
Then don't watch videos of products you don't like. Personally, every other phone company other then Sony (formerly Sony Ericsson) is a bad company to me simply because i owned Sony Ericsson phones years ago and i never felt like i needed a change. They had everything and i am happy with how they make their phones, even now.

and m planning to take it to the US, will my phone work for the US network.
So the only difference between the SL and the S is the processor being 200 mhz faster and the icecream sandwich OS?

Can someone please tell me what the battery life is like on this one? Will it get to the 24 hr mark with moderate use 3g on the whole time?

Maybe u can get 12-14 hours of moderate use in 3g
