Yes Indra, if not for KoRn, I as well would not still be on this Earth. Very first time I heard Blind in 94 i instantly knew this was and always will be my favorite band. I've been fortunate enough to see them live 9 times and seen Jonathan solo on his Black Labrynth tour once. As for your tattoo, if it has personal meaning to you, it most definitely is not stupid. Its art. I have the Issues ragdoll inked on the back of my left calf with red and orange background with the words "all I want in life is to be happy" above it. Jonathan has led a hard life and he expresses it in his songs and I believe that is the reason KoRn has saved so many lives. Simply because there are so many that can relate. It does make sense, you just missed Lance's point. He wasn't saying it would be considered a classic as soon as the song was released. He was referring to it more than likely being considered a "classic" a little later on only because it would have been one of the first songs Korn released, which is the mindset of a lot of fans of many bands and singers these days.
