Beautiful home. I enjoyed the tour. Townhomes aren't for me because I'm too noisy, but if I wasn't a fan of loud music, I would love to live in that home.
I usually drive around this area and will say they are the most beautiful area I see around PG county . Even from the exterior

Buy a single family. Town homes and especially condos are harder to sell. I've owned a house in PG for 20 years. Nice and peaceful and a decent sized yard. Unless you don't want to be bothered taking care of a yard.

As a pg county native I have got to say this house looks amazing
I feel bad for new home buyers, I live perhaps 2 miles down the road and the home I built in 2018 is sitting on damn near 400k equity. These town homes are more expensive than my 5 bedroom single.
These townhouse prices in PG are getting more and more ridiculous. Cost more or same as a modern day single home.
Yea. Some of townhouses are also bigger than these modern day single homes too. 3,100 sqft is a lot more than the average.

@@juucecam3767 I agree I have one now that's 2,800 sq ft 4 levels - just as big as my single family home I had in Charlotte, NC.
@@kayamen2021 All kinds of jobs. The DMV is mostly known for lots of federal government, military, IT, and entrepreneurial jobs. It takes mostly two incomes to live here especially since the average home price now is $500K, especially for the newer homes. "Starter" homes are a thing of the past for builders now. You are lucky to buy a 30 year old ranch home under $400K, depending on the neighborhood.
The less expensive homes are in higher crime areas unless you really know the county. There are "safer" pockets of older homes in well kept neighborhoods. These homes are very lovely and affordable. However, these neighborhood rarely have homes for sale. These are mostly the older, tight knit communities in Cheverly, Suitland, Upper Marlboro and Clinton. However, "safe" is a relative term these days. Crime is everywhere, some places more than others.
Howard county is the wealthiest county in Md. I live in a upscale community in Prince George County, but your kids have to go to school private schools. The school system is horrible for the amount of taxes we pay each year.

600,000.00 4 is row home!!!! Plus hoa fees to expensive!!! Go to Virginia n go get Single family for that amount!!

So the basic starts at 600k, throw in another 200k for the upgrades, and another 200k for the model furnishings and your looking at a million dollar investment in Upper Marlboro... No thanks, it's still in Pee Gee County and along with all the issues.
South Bowie is going to be something to see once its done. T will they have single family homes?
I do believe they will have single family homes built in the future but I can not confirm the builder at this time. Stay tuned….

I am one of the noisy people so I will keep myself in a single family so I don't bother anybody. Except my family.
