I’m a parent and my son plays Fortnite, I was concerned at first when he wanted it a few years ago so I just decided to play it with him. He’s moved onto other games and I’m still playing.
Good job, except I don’t recommend Fortnite all the commend call of duty
Lol

Bro prolly sleeps with his headset on 😂💀

I'm a parent and my son has been playing Fortnite for several years now. Sure there have been times where he has thrown a fit about this game for various reasons, but kids do that with pretty much everything. It's how the parents handle the situation that makes all the difference. If you don't get involved with what your kids are interested in, then you have no idea what's going on. So don't go blaming "the thing" for the issues. Blame yourself for not being an involved parent.
I started playing the game with him and guess what? It's pretty damn fun! We have a great time playing it together. I now have a full understanding of what's involved with the game and have set proper limitations.

Well said
Facts
Omg I have an uncle who literally loves fortnite and plays it with me all the time! Just because you're older or a parent doesn't mean you can't enjoy fortnite people!
Totally agree. I recently got into gaming again at 54 years old (I used to be a whizz on the Megadrive but motion sickness made me stop playing 😢) Fortnite is one of the first games I’ve started with, and it’s awesome!
Parents seem to forget that it's their fault for letting their young kids play a game rated for teens
A lot of the problems are reated to the fact that parents let a 9 yr old play a game for 13 yr olds

Being honest, it’s the parents fault for the addictions, guess they’ve never of just saying no. They’re the ones who let their kids do it
Fr tho some parents don’t realize they are the source of the problem
Agreed
For sure. My kids play, but there are limits to how much or often.

This lawsuit one of the stupidest lawsuits i ever see.
Some parents think that when the kids are addicts to Fortnite it's because the game or something else but there is no something bad with your kids.
Dear parents. Your kids are fine, the problem is you! put boundaries to avoid this to happening and stop trying to put the blame on someone else, Take responsibility on yourself.
I mean, isn't the point of a video game to be fun? Enjoyable? Satisfying? Make you want to play it? I don't see anyone getting mad over a movie or show being "addicting" because people are invested in it and want to watch them. Admittedly, I'm sure there's some shady practices going on regarding the cosmetics/ money side of things, but the majority of this sounds pretty dumb.
Indeed
My man’s spilling facts
is it also bad parenting when kids believe nazism racism and sexual harassment is funny? most people that i met on fortnite think as such BECAUSE OF FORTNITE
@@xonenwersonst Fortnite doesn't endorse any of that. They probably just think it's funny because parents either encouraged/ didn't discourage that behaviour. And they probably just learned it from OTHER toxic kids on the game. Not necessarily Epic's fault plus they have all sorts of controls for online play to help prevent that sort of interaction if anyone cared to use them.
Yet the parents filmed themselves throwing a tantrum at the kids. Maybe it’s THEIR explosive anger problems that causing the issues for the kids
Valid point, never noticed that someone was actually FILMING this happening.
🖐🏻
I would want to drown myself in a video game too if my parents were like that lmao
@@superazula3722 Honestly, there’s already one big red flag and that’s that the parents FILMED THEM! That’s just ridiculous.
Yes
What's actually ridiculous is that the reason why some of these were even caused in the first place was because of bad parenting.
Yes
Fortnite is not addictive, it’s just a game, also
Raise your hand up if you like top gaming 🤚🏽
I see at least five kids a week say oh I have an iPhone 14 and ps5 oh and btw they’re five yo
@ChainTheboy2213
Why would that make it not addictive?
@@Noahplayzz235 ^^^ This. So many parents just give their kid, no matter the age or maturity whatever they want. Which leads to actions such as the ones we saw in this video.
Blaming parents alone for children's gaming issues overlooks key factors: games are designed to be addictive, not all parents have the resources to manage screen time, and peer influence is strong. Additionally, some children use gaming to cope with mental health issues. The gaming industry and regulatory bodies also share responsibility.
I don't know how your logic works but how can a parent have the resources to buy them a gaming console/PC and also not have the resources to manage screen time.
@TeshlinNaidoo because they dont know how to?
shouldn't have bought a gaming device for ur little kids anyway

yea its like be a parent and grow up also they shouldn't just leave there credit card on any system so thos who say its addicting are the ones to blame they didint set boundaries but they wanna blame games instead of themselfs
and their the ones who say "its just a game"
This is the normal top5gaming content. I'm hoping this type of content came back
5:20 Rue's outfit isn't based on the bad guys from the second world war. It's based on uniform that the soviets used. Seeing as how the season she was released in was Spy themed and how The Soviets were a common enemy in old spy movies, this makes a lot more sense.
I mean, it literally has the Shadow logo on her jacket/ coat thing.
@@TheEpicGalaxy21
Everyone just heard one person say one thing and then didn't bother to do any research.
“Bad guys” lol is it illegal to say the word “nazis” now🫡😑
@@CrypticOfficialYT
No, but it can hurt their revenue if it's said too much in the comments.
Yeah, like it's just a trench coat! The Germans always had super sick and badass uniforms, and that is not one of them! They had some high tier fashion designers at one point designing the outfits, and they'd probably think that coat would look too much like a rain coat! 😅 i love the skin, but it's just ridiculous we might not ever get her back due to people spreading so much misinformation. 😮💨 it's a shame.
Such irony, those who wish to be fathers/mothers end up acting more like children than their actual children.
Even though it’s in the comics instead of the game, im surprised more parents haven’t thrown a fit over the scene with the Imagined and wolverine
Imagine being sued for $1 billion for epic😂😂😂

Parents’ logic:
>Epic makes Fortnite

Real
Parents dont LET their kids play fortnite its them owning a gaming device and because of the additictive marketing and kids in their social life talking about it makes em download it mostly without parents knowledge but you are most likely a kid thats why you blame parents so quick
@Doedi3d that's why parents are supposed to check what their kids are playing. In the end it's still their problem.

I can already tell this video is going to be good
As a Canadian, the parents who sued Epic Games at the start don't deserve my respect. To have prevented the problem, they should've DISCUSSED deeply and calmly with their kids on the game before letting them play/taking legal action. Matter of fact, I never played Fortnite and still don't, but watch videos about it which demonstrates the supportive fanbase. Please let this game live, it's not the kid's fault for not knowing the ESRB "T for Teens" rating. Thanks for reading.

"Free pizza." That told me enough, in a recent chapter of FN.
I think its also the fact that here in germany for example, this game was once called "genocide turned fun". The german news and some Facebook groups make games like shooters seem like warcrimes, so parents of course get paranoid, cause they believe facebook and the news more than anyone else.
