to help the thin sound without foam you can use the harder gaskets and/or alu plate. that being said, i found the foam sound actually sounded very good and not much like most "foamy" boards
Swinging by to say how glad i am that you were the only youtuber I saw showing the rgb on here. As a newer builder i could not for the life of me figure out how they were controlled. Also, you make the best girlie mech videos out there which allows my wife to enjoy this hobby with me. Keep finding and making the cutest stuff!

I’ve let all the rest fly by but my favorite layout I took without asking!
Meeeh, I’m still stuck in selecting color. Days passes like hours, and I cannot decide between navy or brown. Not to mention tri-mode or non-flex cut pcb >.
@Zoom Zoom pick your fav keycap set, that might help with picking the base color!

What a cozy, aesthetic showcase! I’m not usually into TKLs but QK foamy sound profile is so consistently good that it’s hard not to be tempted every time haha.
Have you tried the Meletrix Zoom TKL? How would you compare the two?
I only have the zoom65 r1, so i cannot compare both tkl boards unfortunately. yea i also do like the board with foam, i'm currently typing on it without the pe foam and it still sounds great! :D using it with pom plate and it gives enough pop on it's own :3

Thank you for showing all the RGB modes, that was awesome as many other youtubers had the non-rgb versions. What would you recommend between wired flex-cut and non-flex-cut for a keyboard newbie?
the only thing i can "recommend" is when you're really into rgb, then get the wired, if you want to reduce cables, then wireless is better obviously. other than that it's totally up to you and what you want in a keyboard (sound, feel) i feel like if you are using foam in the qk80, than flex/non-flex does not matter that much. it might be different, when the pcb is thicker than 1.2mm. but that's just my opinion~

i still love my ktt strawberries! sound volume wise, the qk80 is leaning more to quite than loud i would say

i'm not sure if they sell them internationally, you can go to their notion page (link in description) and look up the vendors. You might be able to still buy it from the regional vendor
