      Those green mowers, I have never seen them before. What are they called Banterman ? Did I spell that correctly ? Are those 4 wheel drive ?

  • @rpavlik1
    @rpavlik1 3 роки тому

    Oh man, the irony that you have all those mowers and use a push mower on your lawn. Got 3 myself but one is temporary (upgraded), so only the little old Craftsman is for collecting/fun purposes. Got a comment recently on my video question about it from years ago, so I should probably shoot a quick follow up now that it has worked for a few years and gone from actual mower to novelty collector item.
    That's the smoothest running lawn boy I've ever heard - all the ones in my neighbor hunt like crazy

    • @DocSprocket

      I really don't have enough lawn to justify a riding mower, it's just me being occasionally lazy.
      As for the Lawn Boy- this is my 3rd... or 4th? All ran great!

      Don't get TOO comfortable with that idea. That IS why it's sitting in the chassis, but I've developed a pretty damned cool idea for that "spare" Bannerman, and the 40-Pounder* may not be a part of it. I just have too damned many ideas... LOL

    good to see you back on you tube .. been busy myself .. getting go karts going for the grand kids .. took over part of the hay field and put a small dirt track for them to ride ..the beaver looks neat ,, love the push mower at the end of the video .. about 15 years ago seen a hover push mower ... no deck wheels the blade lifted the deck up about a inch or so and you could cut any direction ,, would love to have a mower like that ... might have to make my own ..

    The Sears twin is a 1976 from the plastic tank under seat. 1975 should have had a metal tank, 1977 would have been a 16/6 with different decals, 1978 would have been a "GT18".

    • @DocSprocket
      @DocSprocket 3 роки тому

      If I'd spent more time on it, you'd see the new style shift decal, and id tags under the hood (which still aren't getting me a solid result) as well as the older blue front axle... LOL The dash has been fabbed from sheetmetal, presumably to replace a broken plastic one
