I'm crying so hard right now. Overdose was my introduction to EXO and immediately turned me into an EXO-L (though our fandom was still nameless then). Monster is, for me, the *ultimate* EXO title-track and MV and a continuous inspiration for my writings. KoKoBop was the most magical era and EXO's last proper summer comeback - an iconic release in every way. Love Shot was the repackaged comeback that did for EXO what only Growl had done before it - redefining the standard. And Obsession is the comeback that simultaneously gave meaning to and broke the mold - a song, a concept, an MV that only EXO could have pulled off and one of my all-time favourites.
This mash-up is more than a masterful mixture of the above, it is a masterful reminder to fans and haters alike of how utterly inimitable in their talents, beauty, characters, concepts, chemistry, videography and discography the 9 individuals who form the One True magical entity that is EXO are.
Thank you so much for creating this masterpiece. I so wish the boys could see it - it deserves their recognition, just as they deserve all the recognition they've received and infinitely more.
Overdose and Monster were what got me into EXO too (and kpop in general, I was pretty late to the party though lol)! What would my life be like if I hadn’t heard them? No idea 😂
@@BC-qy9te I think I was even more later lmao (I'm french and my country is very late with K-pop) but they quickly became super important to me, some of their songs have a special meaning and place in my life. They heal me, give me inspiration and make me dream. I am so glad and so greatful to be an EXO-L
Even though I started following EXO since Monster/Lucky One, after all this time researching and looking back at their success, shows, albums, even controversies- after being so much time looking (and still do) I really feel as if I was there since the beginning (that's also why I support 12 members plus their solo careers), which I wasn't for sure, but I also feel this mashup very special! Probably not as much as you do, but I definitely feel happy with it too!
@@etotheb5499 I'm French too (happy to meet a fellow country fan 😊) and became an Exo-L during Call me baby ! Exo wasn't popular in Europe at the time, but now that Kpop became a big thing in the world we can find a lot more of fans to discuss with us (even if when we meet kpop fans in real life, they are not always liking the same groups as us...). But even if we can't exchange with people in reality, I am happy that we can always found some Exo-L to exchange with and to remember that we are not alone in this fan family !! 🤗🤗
