Just bought the Bronze Aquitaine made by CW in fact love their watches so much I bought two, the other one being the stainless GMT version.
Your review is so accurate it reassures me Iv bought into a exceptionally high quality watch maker! And can I tell you they do now place a bronze buckle on the bracelet which compliments the watch perfectly, they listen to what people say and make changes accordingly.

Great video Miguel! Really liking C.Ward's logo redesign and placement. I always thought having the "Christopher Ward" text on the dial would sometimes make the placement awkward depending on the function of the watch. This looks much cleaner and classier!

Nice review. I like your review style so will follow your channel. I think this is a really charming watch with load of period character. Never owned a bronze watch but I like the idea of something that will evolve and change on my wrist. The bronze and blue in an inspired choice of colour, a great marriage imo.

Great review man! I really like the changes they've made with this new lineup. Fantastic looking watches. I already own a 3rd generation C60, but I think that I'm gonna have to pick up one of these Aquitaines (in steel). I never had a problem with "Christopher Ward" written on the dial, damn it's looks pretty dope without it! Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you for the nice review and the beautiful close-ups. I am very close to buying an Aquitaine, so I landed on your discussion of the watch. I already own a Sealander 63 GMT and have become a fan of the brand. I am just not sure about the bronze. I never had a bronze watch precisely because it changes its looks over time and since I tend to dressier, "clean" looking watches, I am not sure if that would be a good pick. What draws me most to this watch is the sapphire bezel, which looks really outstanding and I have not seen it in any other watch I could afford. So my only decision left will be "bronze or steel".

Excellent video. My biggest concern with CW is the particular bonze alloy they use. It's doesn't seem to patina gracefully like a Tudor does. Tudor uses an aluminum alloy in their bronze which gives it a nice warm patina. Some older bronze CW's got spotty with green patches. Looking at how quickly yours has gained patina gives me pause in buying one of these. I've seen 6 month old Tudors that don't show this level of patina. I will need to see this one a few months down the line to see how it ages before purchasing. Or may just go SS, we'll see.
I see your point there, I personally really like the GMT version. I don’t own a bronze watch because I like my watches to look in pristine condition. Good luck and thank you 🙏 for watching!

@@SoCalWatchReviews ive recieved the watch and am really impressed with it. I speeded up the corrosion effect on the bronze using ammonia and sea salt crystals. After 1 hr 45 mins looking good with various green effects on the surface. Thanks again, if I hadn't watched your review I wouldn't have pulled the trigger on this one.👍

The new batch of their C65 Super Compressor also has the 2 Flag logo without the name. They may start using this logo on all their models as they get renewed.

I received my new Super Compressor a few days ago, together with an email from CW customer service thanking me for my purchase, and also confirming what i suspected. That they are going to change the Christopher Ward wording to the two flags logo on the face of all their model range as stock is being renewed. Looking forward to watching more of your reviews.
