There is no point of picking an old Bentley thinking you will look rich, you will even go bankrupt keeping it on road. Those who own old Bentleys are not basically poor, they are still quite rich but they don't want to show up in a brand new probably because of a lot of attention. The point is that celebrities and CEOS own Bentleys and Rolls Royces normal peoples shouldn't buy them at any price because it is not cheap keeping it on the road.

Not many people know this, but the engine was completely redesigned apart from reusing the crankcase, by Cosworth in Northampton UK. Was originally a single turbo and very outdated with 7 separate v belts driving all of the ancillaries. When it was changed to the twin turbo, pretty much everything else changed in order to make the power and meet emissions. Still a push rod though as Bentley still wanted it.

I have driven this car a lot living in England. The info system is designed for the owner sitting in the rear. At the time the remote was very cool. Its position in the middle of the dashboard was a complete pain as it blocked the kerbside view for the driver.
The seats in my local park are more comfortable, Cornering had no feel what so ever, and you would be very nervous in the wet. You will tire of it in a month!

I need to put the record straight I bought my Bentley Arnage T for £20,000. about $28,000 a year ago It is in a beautiful Moroccan blue colour and I have done 24,000 miles in my first year the cost has been minimal in terms of maintain and in my opinion it is the most magnificent car I have ever owned they only 2400 of these beasts and approx 1000 RHD to put it in terms of appreciation likelihood this is a car to invest in so too. those petrol heads who keep mentioning cost of repair I am an owner and when driven as an everyday car it will serve you well if left sitting in a garage not driven I think it will stagnate and cost a lot ,Well anyhow great Video Doug keep it up

Then you would just swap out numbers depending on which female you have in the car. For more women, you can just start breaking them down into 4 categories. Bigger ass and long legs, she's a 4. One of those little short chics, she's a 1. Not quite short with a stupid thick ass, she's a 3.

They used to claim something to the effect that they built cars using the absolute best components available in the world; and that if they couldn't produce those components themselves in-house, that they would purchase them from whoever could. Probably the most prime example of this would of course be the Citroen self leveling hydraulic suspension. I believe they also used GM alternators on the SZ body cars as well, though I might be wrong about that.

Punch it on the freeway and the feeling of that much moving mass that quickly and smoothly in an automobile is surreal. Like nah can’t be going over 100 that quick and then yes it definitely is. Not sporty but smooth and elegant. It’s a car that could do triple digits on the autobahn all day long while someone snoozes in the back not even aware.

Doug, I owned a 2004 Bentley Arnage T-24 Le Mans Edition, black on black just like this one. I paid $69,000 back in 2010. The car was in the shop for 3 months attempting to fix all the problems and when it as all said and done the bill was $31,896.12. Almost half as much as I just paid for the car. I sold it 6 months later when it wouldn’t stay running for $49,000. A loss of $50,000 over 10 months. When I bought my 2012 Bentley GTC the general manager offered to give me another 2004 Arnage as his gift to me in addition to my GTC as long as I only got it serviced here. No deal. Even a free Arnage is too expensive.

Hi Doug, I fell in love with this car last year when you showed me all of it's quarks and features. Now I might actually get to buy one and have been watching Auto Trader. My question is, if paying cash, is there a percentage off asking price I should start negotiating from?
