regretting that John left RHCP -> wishing he'll get back -> spamming all my playlists with JF -> appreciating new John's stuff as usual with occasional shock -> loving it -> being unable to appreciate other musicians as much -> wishing he never get's back to RHCP -> stuff like wishing that Black Knights record new cd with no vocals though I know nothing about them -> regretting that he gets back to RHCP -> worrying he won't record as much

These are available for download at John's SoundCloud in WAV for free. Thanks John you rock and Black Knights never really did it for me vocally anyway. Get them while you can because sometimes free downloads are withdrawn like Here, Air and other rare tracks which used to be available but there is so much there including the instrumental mixes of The Almighty as well as Renoise Tracks and 4-Track Guitar Music and Wayne, all lossless.
#TrueFunkSoldier It's absolutely correct what you say. The Black Knights instrumentals are just awesome to me but these guys have just not the tightes flow. Imagine that with a real dope rapper who brings it... But the instrumentals alone are so damn good - it doesn't even sound like rap or hip hop. Some tracks are okay bubt there are way better rappers out there. I think Doc Doom (RIP) was the best of them and those two try but some have it others not so much...Thanks for sharing that information about the download. It' true that's often only for a period of time available and then gone. Peace!

Has anyone else noticed that The Scroll of Excalibur is the same as the last The Almighty bonus track Venus Scroll? Can't say I've listened to the original songs yet by The Black Knights but I imagine those 2 songs are essentially the same just different rap verses
They are exactly the same track, just a different name - I guess they felt the need to make up the numbers as an album

Why can't they bring out all three Black Knights as John Frusciante instrumentals on fat 180g vinyls like the Black Knghts albums came out. So well made. 2 and 3 LP set, gatefold. Now bring me that instrumentals out. On wax please! I think I can forget it. The 'Excalibur' album never came out as album (vinyl) . It's crazy that could easily be used as Instrumentals for an JF album with his lyrics singing. Some tracks doesn't sound like hip hop at all. Black Knights could use that good. Must be noeasy rapping over such 'new' instrumentals. Sometimes I'm not sure if it's the Black Knights, who aren't the best rappers (No dis!), make that album on some tracks a bit bumpy and rugged. Rugged ok, but a little square not thst smooth. Wether it's their style, that fits on some tracks very well on thers it's more the background. I'm curious what any other real good rapper woulöd or could have made out of those instrumentals..No I won't mention any . Okay maybe Big Boy and Andre 3000 from Outkast, Killer Mike, or so. besides that get your shit together and release Frsciante's albums. How lives this guy. almost no solo album is availalbe on vinyl. And Cd is also a struggle. John your no sell out if you just release or re-releas your music!! It's more a sellout to me if I've to pay about 200 € for an single lp. Re- release your vinyls man and put new intrumentals from those last 3 Black Knights on LP. That would be great! It's wasted genius not to release that stuff in the world of crappy music!
Man the CDs are easy to get and John reissued almost all his albums on vinyl in 2012. I know that's 7 years ago but since then he has reissued Niandra LaDes on vinyl, released several albums which all came out on vinyl, produced several albums, reissued Only Water on vinyl, and now he's reissuing The Empyrean on vinyl. Brown Bunny was even reissued a few years ago. The only albums never reissued on vinyl are Shadows Collide which is worth about $600 for an original copy now but that's not John's fault that's on Warners, and Smile which has never been reissued at all.
@@truefunksoul8638 That's a misundertsanding. I'm from Germany. Nothing's to get easy from John. I'm a fan since about the RHCP times and after he left I got into his solo stuff. Ok. Now, I slept with the 2012 vinyl release cause my son was born 2011 and I also left concerts alone except L.Cohen when she was pregnant in 2010. I came back into music that year but hadn't the time and nerve to collect like I did before and now again. So the only things I could get through regular shops was 3 cd's. 'Shadows collide..', 'The will to Death and 'Letur-Lefr'. And even the first two of them had to be ordered from the shop.That's it. On vinyl I got the RHCP analog mastered 'BSSM' and the Box of 'Stadium Arcadium'. That's it. Except the Black Knights Lp's 'Medieval Chamber' (2LP; 180gram, gatefold) and 'The Almighty (3LP; 180gram, trifold) plus the actual release from 'The Empyrean' which was announced to come out as 180gram, gatefold, 2lp, downloadcode. I pre-ordered 2 of them a month before, just to get told 2 days after the official release that they wouldn't send/ship to Europe. I believe the taxes were to expensive for the shop and he told me that but I don't know. [Cause an other record shop has gotten it and sells one album for 75.-€] So the chance to find anyone else was gone. I ordered 3 of them and 2 CD's (SHM) from the US. 'The Empyrean' is a regular 2lp album (NO gatefold, NO 180 gram but masterd by B.Grundman and JF - The record collection should really have made that album the same like the Black Knights were made. Really the best made albums in my collection in the last years when it comes how they look and they're made with love. Really nice work with the covers, etc..). The sound's good but for the price with shipping and taxes was about 165 / 170.- €. The CD's were 'Inside of Emptiness' and 'A Sphere in the Heart of Silence' Well made SHM-Cd's - Japanese Edition. Incl. lyrics and nice done. That was about 60.- or 65.-€ extra. They were eve more expensive than the regular price from 26.-$ of 'The Empyrean' vinyl. 'Niandra...' is able to get here but it's one of his weakest albums created in a chaotic finding process of himself. That reissue came out really well made a gatefold, 180gram, 2vinyl. it looks awesome but that's it. 'Smile from the streets..' is even worse to me. His worst ever. I got almost ALL (except those 2 Trickfinger albums, Enclosure and PBX) of his stuff on mp3 and I know that stuff but I wanted the original vinyls or the reissues of the good 2004 released stuff and 'To record only water for ten Days' (masterpiece). Here it's pretty fcked cause he's no star in Germany, no concerts and so on. Everybody knows the RHCP's but say Frusciante all you see is asking eyes.. Only the record fans know what the stuff's worth and that it's not easy to get it. That's why the sellers go crazy with their prices. The know if anybody in Germany wants aFrusciante album he's afan and then they wanna see money. More than enough. Just that you know the state of collecting JF in Germany / Europe. Maybe in England but not even there he's that big. Or in France a little but I'm not sure. I see often spanish comments so he's probably liked and heard more in spanish speaking places or Middle and South America. All right then. Stay true to the funk soldier and cheers!

I'm back since about 2, 3 years to keep on collecting music. Mostly vinyls.Probably it's more cause I've never counted all I got. Anyway, back to your nice response. Semi-official I think. He must approve all this. Almost everything from his career is here except for the Smile From The Streets album from 1997 which he has never reissued and the Brown Bunny soundtrack which he only did half, and always with links to all his official sites and perfect art and lyrics and everything.
