You missed the Saudi Arabian pavilion . It’s considered one of the best in the Expo . It would’ve been a nice introduction before coming to the country
Thank you for sharing this. I went to Expo only over the last two days and visiting Germany and South Korea was a day-long endeavor so I had to unfortunately skip them to see as much else as I can. My biggest disappointment was that Japan was no longer accepting any visitors over the last two days saying that the pavilion is fully booked until the 31st of March... T_T No, I get at least a glimpse of what I have missed.
Really enjoyed the longer video Uptin! I’d love to see you visit countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Italy, Russia, and Pakistan seem like they’d be interesting!
Hey Uptin, really great video on the expo 2020. You gave us an awesome tour with your honest thoughts. Been thinking of going too, after watching your video, I’m more keen on it now. Thank you!
@@uptin Just left Dubai a few days ago. Loved the Expo and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks again for the videos, I think they really help people get a sense of the vibe of the place.
And the most empty days are Monday and Tuesday especially until 4 p. m. If you wanna skip lines, it works for 100% when you say, you're from the country in their native language. At least it worked flawlessly when I skipped lines in German and Swiss pavilion. And official free bus riders are faster than any other kind of transport, even metro and except weekends absolutely empty - however it's for free only when you provide your expo ticket to the bus driver (barcode, physical ticket).
Your content is top notch! I think you should create a course for aspiring content creators. Great vid and keep up the amazing work! Regards from Honduras.
Hi There I want to come to Dubai in late April and spend some time at Expo City. Do you know if the seven Pavilions are still open ? Also is the Expo site one big construction site now ? Is it worth coming to Dubai now to see the site ? Can you do a video on the site now ? ( April ) Each question is very important to me. Thank you so much for your time. Gary Selby
I just had a gut feeling Japan would be in the top exhibitions, the amount of details they put into everything still amazes me. Ad someone who visited japan in 2017(mainly Tokyo) i can testify that they put so much effort on service and its crazy just thinking about it. As someone who is from the netherlands i am not easily impressed with other countries in terms of innovation and uniqueness but Japan was totally unique and in a postive way. Ofcourse no country is perfect but ; Dear readers of this comment. If you ever get the chance to go Japan, GO! You will NOT be dissapointed!!
Thank you for the amazing video I wish next time you can show us more of African countries pavilions since it’s the first in history to see all African nations participating in the expo!!
I just want to tell you that your video was AMAZING. I felt like I was there. It has convinced me to go to Expo. I will be there in mid-March. Have you gone back yet ? Will you be there in March ? Also were can I stay that will be safe, clean and inexpensive ? I have chosen a nice hotel near a metro, very near the Expo site. Is it good to travel by metro ? Can you offer any other tips ?
Thanks so much, that's so kind of you and I'm SO happy to hear it inspired you to visit. Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. I might be there around Mid-March to do a video about what happens to Expo next. YES, very smart to travel to expo via metro. My best tip is to go early, like 9:30am and go straight to the Japan pavilion. Its incredible, and the best one. Even at the opening, it might be a 1 hour wait, but honestly it's worth it. And if you try to go later in the day it will be HOURS of waiting, so just start your day there, (ideally on your 2nd day). Stay hydrated, and enjoy!
😂 I mean the USA doesn’t have to pay for the expo since the USA is friend with the host country. The USA also have a military presence in UAE and sells many weapons to them.
Phenomenal report! While enjoying the video and all the information, one overarching thought came to my mind: "HEY COVID, WE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD ARE ALIVE WITH HIGH SPIRIT! YOU COULD DELAY US, BUT COULD NOT STOP US!" The Dubai government did a fantastic job holding the exhibit. And thank you Dubai for the gift to America! Thank you @Uptin for infusing your report with to-the-point information, great humor, and your personal touch. Another masterpiece taking your audience with you.
Is there long lines for certain pavilions? We only have about 1 day to dedicate to the EXPO on our trip - where would you recommend we visit? We'd like to hit as many places as possible! Any tips to avoid lines?
Hey great video as usual but Ive noticed something about editing this video is whenever you cut into a new clip a pop sound pops out, it sounds more like a click. I noticed this myself when I wwas editing my videos using premier pro and it was so annoying. After a lot of trial and error trying to fix the issue the only solution was to add constant audio effect or gain at the beginning of each clip :( .. Nevertheless great video and content as usual my friend
Uptin you did a fabulous job. Thousand of miles away I enjoyed with you. I think every of the pavilion has somerhing unique in it and something to tell why special it is... Wonderful
Nice video love the Japanese pavilion. Is Expo supposed to be all about High Tech and future technology ? I wish all countries would have shown more authentic items and clothes than just screens. Also I didn’t get what the Tala-bot does there ? Are they just boxes filled with food ? I’d love to see Russia , Brazil , Rawanda , Uzbakistan , Croatia next please 😅😬
It’s all about the future and sustainability so countries can use tech to showcase that but it’s certainly not required. Some pavilions have very minimal tech. Talabat, basically you can order food to a different part of the expo but I think it’s mostly for promoting the brand. I didn’t see anyone using it. Will add those countries to my next video!!
Brilliant!! Loved the tour Uptin… amazing!! If you head back can you check out Australia 🇦🇺 please, if only just for Jay and me. Loving your videos!! 👍😃
Hey Uptin, I'm planning to visit the expo in December. Please try more countries and let us know your final top 5. Don't forget Canada. Dinesh from Toronto.
Amazing footage + narration.. that expo looks really fun.. will they keep the buildings up permanently? I'd like to see Thailand, Mexico, Myanmar (if it's there)
I heard that the exhibition of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the Emirates will be next to each other, and it will certainly be very special Because the UAE is the host and Saudi Arabia is the second largest exhibition in the Dubai Expo and I heard that it broke 3 records in its exhibition and Egypt is the owner of the great civilization. Good luck .
If you wanna enjoy it, not just for getting a stamp into your Expo passport, I recommend at least 7 days to be honest. I spent there 9 days and still haven't seen everything. It will make your visit much better if you would sometime show your interest in any country and interact with the volunteers and ask them about more info. 😉 Volunteers are one of the best part of this expo, everyone is so excited to share their knowledge.
They spend +-50 million Dollar for non permanent structure, meanwhile in Indonesia, for the same amount of money, we can build a new indoor arena for FIBA Basketball world cup 😅😅
