I need your advice! Me and my ex bf meet ol, we met and dating for only 2times because he have to go back to his country. But after he go we still keep contact and decided to do ldr. Almost a year we did ldr but never have a chance to meet in person again. So, he decided to break up with me because of it. But,even after break up he want us to keep contact and being friend. I said fine but deep inside i want him back. Actually, i had a plan to go to his country for holiday and spend quality time with him. He's excited to hear that but i want commitment from him to wait me and not dating anyone untill we meet. But he said if he meet women he like untill we meet he will make her as his gf. Before vday i sent him a chocolate with letter about my feeling. I really like him and want his happiness so i'm ready to let him go if he doesn't have same feeling anymore. But my feeling is so strong to him and i just want him to go back and decided to do no contact. I just start no contact and the gift i sent to him arrived at his apartment. He sent me long messages and feeling happy and thankful for the gift and explain that the reason oe break up is because of distance not because he doesn't like me anymore. But since i decided to do no contact i only replied with "your welcome 😊" and he replied with this emoji -.- .
What should i do mark! Keep no contact or reply to his line?

Yeah... my love comes home from work, showers, asks for food, and go straight to the laptop/phone. We exchange a few words and i get mad at him because he is just busy with other things, and i tought that is normal after 5 years of relationship...

I have a question. At the moment I'm talking to this guy. We've been talking for a month and I really feel like we have a good connection. We are going on our second date next week. We text and talk on the phone regularly. He seems really sweet, and he seems to have great values and is hilarious.
However, during our conversations I sometimes feel like he overtakes it too much, and I don't get to express myself as i would like. I almost feel like he sometimes talks too much because he wants everything between us to work out. it's almost like he fears that I will lose interest if he stops keeping the conversation going on. This stops me from expressing my needs and standards. I want to be able to express to him what my standards and values are for a relationship, and how I am in a relationship. What should I do? Help! I like this guy, I feel like I show interest in him, and he is also showing interest in me.

Resham on the phone before the second date probably isn't the best place to express your needs and standards... If he's not letting you get a word in then obv you have to address that, but it depends what needs and standards you're talking about as to whether you address it on the phone... If you can't get a word in, I'd focus on that until you have spent more time together. You can literally say "Hey, let me get a word in!" or "Hey Mister, quit talking so fast, I wanna contribute!"

4-5 years ago i liked a guy from school and tried to get to know him but we texted like 3-4 times nothing happened, now i followed the same guy on instagram he followed back, a week later i sent a message to him we talked and after 5 days i sent a message again. when we were talking he asked me if i still have his number than we started texting and it's been 2 days after that and idk what to do now because i am the one always trying to talk sending the first text, it is ok but i'm scared that if i would be annoying or forcing. should i wait and see if he will do something or should i text after a while again ?
Ilayda I'd honestly just cut through the crap and ask him to coffee or something fun (come walk your dog, frisbee, etc...). Just frame it as wanting to catch up probably NOT over text. If he says no, awesome. You put yourself out there and now you know.

Agree 100%. One of the things my boyfriend and I did when we started seeing each other is that we just stared at each other for like 3 minutes without saying or doing anything. I thought it was nice to promote that connection we have. I would like to do that more often. I hate it when my boyfriend is saying something when I'm on the phone, because I'm not really listening. I want to hear what he has to say, because he is my soulmate and my best friend. He has been there for me so many times, and I need to show him that I'm there for him as well. Thank you! I have a question.....should I just get used to having to settle for men who are not my ideal because I am single mom? I have been single since I found out my daughter's father was a complete liar and psychopath. He is completely gone now and on to his next poor victim, with whom he has two more twin boys. I feel like I have ruined any chance for myself to find true love in this lifetime, as I can totally see how dating someone with a kid is not necessarily optimal.
