Strobe Lights, everything for my eyes!!! I am so fucking proud as a Belgian of this entry. We have been waiting for a club banger for decades. This genre is in our DNA. Red Sebastian is not only an amazing vocalist, he is a performer (he knows his song by the second), he has a vision, he has already the full picture in his head, he has a team around him to deliver. And that staging is so suiting the song. The metallic lift gives underground vibes. The fast switching of the camera makes you go into trance especially when the long high notes merges with the beat. And the effect of the dancers joining in the end is the cherry on the pudding. Now : One advice to Seppe (and this is constructive). Work on the lower vocal range to make it memorable. Add something in the first minute to grab us by the throat until you drop us on the floor sucked out of energy!!!!
Then, as a Romanian, I think Romania should come back and send some manele to Eurovision. The old style like Sandu Ciorba or Florin Salam, bringing back that good vibrato old vibrato ( example: Nebunia lui Salam) We wouldn't win the first place but Romanai have a culture for trhowing money to manelists ( manele singers) so we will come one way or another with the most moneys.

Geweldig gebracht! Het enige jammere is het foute camerawerk. Op 0:40 is het duidelijk dat Seppe in de camera kijkt (wat toch zo gepland was, vermoed ik), maar gebruiken ze de verkeerde camera. En op het einde gebeurt er ook een foutje volgens mij, door van ver te filmen, terwijl dit meteen een close-up moest zijn. Vond zijn vocals en bewegingen (met de staander voor de micro) eigenlijk nog indrukwekkender in de showcase vorige week. Maar, dit allemaal nog wat finetunen en we hebben echt nog eens een kans om het Songfestival te winnen! 🏆
