So strange to hear Mimir without a Scottish accent lol
That was Puck in disguise or as far as we know…….
Odin:"What is the price?"
Mimir:"Your eye!"
Odin:[gouges out his eye out]
Mimir, "Not that one, the other eye!"
@@Sheseasyouthere Loki:"Hi!"
Mimir:
“!?! I was just joking!”
For others, Odin hanged himself from the world tree Yggdrasill for 9 days and 9 nights so he could learn the ancient Runes.
Yes, until Yggdrasil got fed up with him & sent him back to the Land of the Living. Why do you think he’s called the Lord of the Hanged?? 😂😂
I see, you probably also love the world of mythology
I truly love your channel. Keep doing the best work.
Can we see Nott? Nott, the Personification of the Night from Norse mythology
Hail Odin!
The great story of what Odin did to get his wiadom
Wisdom.
❤🤍💙 all your videos mate👍
Odin: “ What is the price ?”
Mimir: “ Your i “
Odin: “I shall be called Odn henceforth”
Ah so Mimir ISNT Puck from Celtic myth who Odin found, and hired!!
Not in Norse mythology, at least.
I’d prefer Mimir’s story from God of War, where he tricked Odin into drinking water laced with mushrooms!! 😂😂😂
Later Warhammer 40k would borrow the one eyed sorcerer king motif and use it in the form of the character Magnus the Red the Primarch and leader of the Thousand sons space marine legion…ironically his mortal enemy was his brother Leman Rus who was basically a space Viking…but given Leman’s legion was known as the Space Wolves and Odin was supposed to be eaten by the Wolf Fenris during Ragnarök…and the Space Wolves came from a planet called Fenris the connection was all definitely intentional and aptly done by the series authors.
Thanks for the video ⚔️
0:00 So this is Odin was siting his Throne of Asgard. He was thinking did not know everything and so went outside at winter disguised himself as a Wanderer on adventure in search of Knowlege.
0:30 Wow that was beautiful. So this is Wall of Knowledge he lived here the Tree of Worlds. Odin meets Mimir see he using the Jollerhorn horn drank Sacred Water.
0:53 🤔Really Odin and Mimir are taking question about his title without true wisdom and that price is much higher.
1:18 Mimir tell him that price is his eye to pluck it out and throw it into the wall then will he able to drink the water from The Well of Knowledge.
1:36 😮Woo! Odin just take out his left eye with his own hand with pain was so loud. Odin leave his left eye in the Waters of the Well. Mimir offered him a horn with the water from his well to drink the entire contents at once all filled with Knowledge. 😢 So sad Odin really miss his left eye and leave in the Waters of the Wall. I hope Odin can see his left eye return to him in the Afterlife along his memories actions.
2:09 What the!? Seriously Odin left eye is so brightly glowing flame!? He came to be known as the eye Eyed man or Flaming eye. Now he return his Throne of Asgard along Crew left shoulder.
👏👏Brilliant story of Norse Mythology with Animated version about How Odin lost his eye? The Well of Knowledge. They shall remember what Odin's action had done with drink full filled with Knowledge from Waters of the Wall.
The epic tale of how Odin acquired his wisdom
"The price is your eye. I want you to plug it out and throw it inside the water. Only then will you be able to drink from the well if knowledge."
"What does a full set of facial hair get me?"
A pineal gland story.
What is the central idea of the story ? What made you say so?
Background Music name?
Can you do journey to the west day 60
WRONG! This is not how this happened. Óðin was actually hung from it. And he tried to find a way to circumvent the destruction of the gods and the world he helped to create when Ragnarök happened.
Óðin was able to drink from the "Tree of Knowledge, Yggdrasil" only after he learned from the seeress Sibyl and the Norns. He became all-wise by drinking from Mímir's fountain, at the cost of one of his eyes. Óðin impaled himself with his spear on Yggdrasil, the tree of life, for nine days to learn the secrets of the runes. This is from the Hávamal and the Sagas.
Get your stories right!
