      1984 the year I believe the Vulcan was introduced to North America, A great cruising bike for the price. Do you plan to restore older Japanese bikes, true works of art for the working person. Thanks again for the video.

    I think the stock pipes are better looking!..just drill out rivets at rear of pipe ,remove rear baffles and they sound superb and just purchase the k&ns and suitable jetting . And you have saved yourself a lot of cash!!!.I have a friend who has done exactly that and it sounds superb.
    regards. Donny you do a great job!.

      Gerald Swain , you are correct. The modified pipes sound better than the Vance and Hines pipes!

    Don, you can drill out the rivets and take out the rear baffle in your stock pipes. My dad has a 900 Vulcan and it sounds great with this modification. There’s vids on UA-cam for it.

    Hey Donny Do you happen to know what type of windscreen fairing the other person’s bike has. I like to buy the same one. Thank you

    I've been riding for 40+ years, from Harleys and Ducatis to BMWs. IMHO this is bad advice, the pipes are loud to the point of being obnoxious. Why annoy people when the fun is in the riding? Otherwise love your channel, you've been a lot of help to me - thanks for that.

    Will the pipes off a 2002 kawasaki Vulcan 800 fit a 2006 kawasaki Vulcan 900

    Good looking bikes. V&H mods improve the volumetric efficiency of the engine. Suck and squeeze, blow and go :):) Have a good weekend. Ride safely!

    I like a good set of Vance & Hines Cruzers. Sounds good with and without the baffles.

    I like the sound of the second bike, but I can't imagine riding that thing for any distance. I ride a BMW R1200RT with a stock (whisper quiet) exhaust, and I still use earplugs to cut the wind noise. Lots of guys (especially Harleys) run modified exhaust, so maybe you get used to it after a while.

      I ride a 2010 Harley Street Glide it is completely stock I HATE LOUD PIPES spend 95 percent of riding on the highways also use ear plugs . Wish I would have used them when I first started driving a bike in 1969 , I would still have most of my hearing maybe .

    hey man i have a question for your q and a. In one of my cheaper chainswas is very difficult to pull the rope and it doesnt starts at all. I know form your videos that when the engine is blown the compression is very low and its very easy to pull. Does the same logic applies on a very difficult pull?(The rope is on good condition)

    • @donyboy73
      @donyboy73  7 років тому +1

      yes it can, sometimes it's stiff to pull over if engine is blown, take the muffler off to look at piston and rings

      I removed the baffles and made the hole in the exhaust end plate bigger it sounds deeper but not " blappy" if u get my drift whereas if u leave the plates off it's less of a tone and blappy, I've never heard of the word blappy before but its appropriate description.

    Thank you for your great video. It is just what I wanted to see and hear. Thank you so much for mentioning God. I think you mean that Jesus God and that is evidenced by the way you speak. Wonderful. What is a Christian do when they're being put to death by their government by the lack of pain medication that has happened to this country. 15 years of life I would not have had without medication but now they take it away until we can't stand the pain and just die. Thoughts? Still as thankful under torture conditions? Serious question.
