We stayed here in 2018 for 2 weeks,if you walk out of the hotel and take a right around the left turning bend a few metres walk,its a bit dangerous this small walk because you cannot see oncoming traffick but if you walk right out of the hotel you will come to a small taverna selling olives,other great food and beer etc,its under a huge tree and when rimondi grand got too busy we would walk there and it would be empty but that was awesome,bit worrying with a pram in the night but what an awesome place,we stayed for 2 weeks at rimondi grand right by the pooi,the hotel is an all inclusive hotel,the food was fantastic,I remember would order a taxi to go to town and while waiting we would watch the hornets come and go from their hive outside the hotel door,im sure we will be back soon,fantastic place
You can walk on the road behind the hotel to go to them shops. I did walk twice on the road you are talking about. Yes it is dangerous. But after I find out the road behind the hotel that is much safer. It is a pit they don't tell the customers about that safe root to the shops.
The closest beach is about 5 minutes by the Hotel mini bus . The black van on the video The service is every hour go and return free. Excellent service No need to walk
If you walk to the beach it takes a long time but shuttle is good,the food was awesome but some beer is watered down but you need it to be its very hot in the summer,go check the taverna right around the corner,take a right out of the hotel,the taverna is covered by a huge olive tree,tranquil fantastic,im sure only we knew about the taverna because we were always alone there,it was fantastic,although the hotel food was amazing we would find that it got crowded there so we walked around and literally the best thing we found was that taverna around the corner,the view as you are sat under the Olive tree is mind blowing,quite,peaceful,cats greet you as you sit eating olives and drinking a beer

Shops are a far walk but there's a shop in the hotel and it's run by a really nice woman :)
about 15 minutes walking by the road at the back
