I quite enjoyed a casual play through of this game's main story, however completing these trials is a nightmare. The problems really begin to show during the trials.
I never understood why did they had to make these missions like this. I mean why can't I just pay 30 rings for the 3rd runs right away? Or even 300? Or anything! Instead of just wasting my time like this.
What I hate is the fact that the completions don't stack....so, level 1 I have to beat 10 enemies, for example....I complete it with 30 beaten. I still have to do level 2 and level 3, with 20 and 30 to beat, even though I technically did all of them in the first one. It'd save us so much time that way.
Naruto I actually managed to finish the Eggmanland missions. Now i’m struggling with doing the other missions. This is a lot of trial, error and frustration.
@@Sonic171K I know I'm a year late and you probably beat the missions already, but here's a tip I found out that was really helpful for me. Every time you play a mission memorize the layout of the stage. No matter how many times you keep dying at the same part over and over again and feel like quitting keep going at it till you master it. I had a D rank in Jungle Joyride but after memorizing the route in the this video I managed to complete all the missions and go back and get an S rank in the stage all in 1 day.
These missions are easily the worst things about this game. Completely counter-intuitive to what Sonic games are. All this desperate attempt to squeeze in content did was make sure you knew every glitchy part of every level.

There's Hot Dog stands in every world. You take on the missions which is pretty much time trial, ring trial, kill # enemies trial. Completing them grants you that world's hot dog. Sonic can eat em and so can Chip. It's actually required for an achievement/trophy.
honestly i beat eggmanland and i only had trouble on lvl 3 time trial cuz i kept dying but i still did all the time trials in 20 to 25 mins n im more fearing empire city/shamar/ adabat cuz i actually suck at them
Leonardo Wynn Widodo Level 1/2 are basically the same thing as level 3, but just a shorter time limit. Adding them in the video would have just been repetitive and added more time in the video for basically nothing.

If this game does get a remake just like Sonic Colors, I think they should call it Sonic Unleashed Ultimate.
After watching the Ring Trial in Apotos, I can only deduce, that the Ring Trial in Apotos is the only easy Ring Trial in the entire game.
