Hey boss quick question I’m trying to grow zoas on the back glass will they grow over coarse algae or do I always need to keep it where’s there’s absolutely no algae
I have Coraline algae but with Favia frags that grow slowly but provide plenty of different colors. I thought they might attack each other but that hasn't happened. However some have morphed into dull colors.
Depends on the coral but many of your encrusting corals can pretty easily be chipped with a razor blade or scalpel from under the growth edge. They often don’t stick to the glass too strongly
My blastomussa is nearly dead no matter how hard I tried making it happy, and now I noticed glowing dust on filter and even spot floting in a corner. Is that the corals seeds or however u call it got stuck there trying before diying get self to spread?
🎉 I appreciate your work! Thank you!

How do you stop / remove a Stoney coral is it leaves the back walls
and starts growing into the regular glass walls?
