Every season should have brought at least 1 new archetype to the game, like a burst fusion rifle archetype, a 1200 rpm smg archetype, Maybe a crossbow as special ammo, LMG as a primary(highlight on the Light part not MG), Daggers as special ammo melee weapon, Autocannon as a new heavy, 2 round burst Pulse rifles. And probably many more ideas to find. A "unique" Rarity for Armor which is "semi exotic" that either has small unique perks or is a "Set bonus" so if you equip a full set you get some boosts, lets say 4 of the same Set so you can still have an exotic the boosts can be similar to exotic perks where they either just give stat boosts or upgrade subclass abilities or whatever, point is you can have maybe 30 different sets just for weapon types and subclass trees making Build crafting so much more fun then have even more sets for more niche things like combos and buffs. Just adding a new archetype every season would make the loot pool and grind so much more interesting, it doesn't always have to be the best option, sometimes it is enough to be the most fun option. Also what ruined destiny was the removal of past DLC and the idea of not making "too good of an expansion like Forsaken" because it would make the worse ones look even worse. That along with the greed from seasons that never had any real new content just reskinned "do 5 patrols", "do 3 public events" type garbage. Dungeons were good, but should definently also been part of the paid season. Also seasons should have never gone and instead you should be able to replay them in a non matchmaking mode (to not draw players away from other things) and all previous battle passes should have been purchasable. Now the game is ruined and its too late, haven't played since witch king and never will play again because they don't deserve my time or money. I always wanted to return, but when I saw they are not making the annual expansions/ the expansions + the seasons are more expensive. All this content issue would have been fixed by bringing ALL content from ALL seasons and DLC back as OPTIONAL downloads, I don't care if the game would take an additional 100gb because 1. It is optional and 2. I have the space for that.
@lilbruh1151 I definitely think all expansions should stay, but as far as seasons go, it might not be a good idea. It would split what activities everyone runs even more. I would like at least each season's story be playable from start to finish
if bungie arent going to spice up the holiday events then they need to implement temporary changes thats akin to throwing balance out the window, especially when the player numbers and community sentiment are this low, if you need to make it so things like certain triumphs cant be completed during this time, like solo dungeon clears.
Ergo sum dropped before the raid I think. Nothing wrong with a little nut. To avoid making a video cuz oh boy I’ve been fighting to make a video. My head cannon is that the game is suffering more than it usually does just because 1. The final shaped marked the end for a lot of people it was the inevitable. 2. The episodes were always going to be a phase 4 i could see it from a mile away all the changes and great stuff that bungie promised were not going to drop anytime soon. They work a Year in advance. 3. This a 10 year old game trying to fight in a world where Masterclasses like Baldurs, GTA 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, And Path of Exile 2 and many more Advanced and New and Innovative games exist and will exist of course your old car is gonna look dog water if all other cars can fly but yours can’t. That one thing Bungies good at won’t cut it anymore. Bungie will have to find their identity and push the freak out of it if they want to catch up to the new standard but theres only so much you can do with a game thats tied itself down with a system that has very limited pathways of giving people dopamine. People coming back from path talking about Destiny should have stash tabs. They want things that arent even part of this games identity. Like they want a new chase. Ive thought of ways to save this game for years from a new rarity, a different approach to destiny, bringing back all the old content and just revamping them while theyre in game so people stop complaining but there will always be haters and honestly it just comes down to Bungie picking a lane and just going all in. Veterans have grown, the content people want and enjoy has grown its a get with the times type situation and i hate to be the guy saying they need to innovate but i can at least offer direction from what the trends and consumers are actually saying is making Destiny tough to play. Its OLD and people want the new shiny stuff and a story with characters to care about. Its literarily just time hurting destiny cuz it uses the stuff that worked 10 years ago and we’re entering a generation thats gonna make it all age bad plus the internal issues its tough.
@TheBreakFastProjectYT I had heard a long time ago before the sony aquisition that Bungie was thinking about doing a new rarity. It sucks how badly D2 has been mismanaged
@ Its tough to catch a good game drop this hard. But its also they’re fault for not figuring out the proper genre the game was supposed to have. Since D1 ive been saying i cant sell the game to my friends cuz i don’t know what the game is its taken from so many other things which worked well 10 years but its showing now. Lack of identity means lack of direction. Imagine if they locked in on just Looter Shooter we would have had the best Borderlands killer, or MMO we would have had swords and class specifications way soon like aggro with titan banner, hunter dodge that causes confuses, a well that blinds stuff like that.
@TheBreakFastProjectYT I never had a hard time getting people that I know into the game. It would've been a negative if it wasn't unique (look at xdefiant). However, you can keep new players if all of the veterans jump ship this fast lol
@@HotSauceMan46 true but my “friends” back then we’re all mainly PVP COD junkies, so going there’s PVP but its not all that theres also PVE and you have to earn your guns its not like COD you gotta do theses expeditions called strikes and Raids, but you don’t get there yet you gotta first beat this single player campaign
