I am 79 years old and been flying for 50 years, lots of GA airplanes but this little girl is so impressive to me. Wonderful to see her joy and expertise. She is good pilot, born to fly!
I have seen many many of Alina's videos and I enjoy them all. She is quite the amazing pilot due to her father being a fantastic teacher /ground crew. I have been hoping for a while to see her mom in one of those videos and now I finally saw her in her daughters 14th birthday video. *HELLO Mrs. Scott.* from one of your daughter's fans. I was born and grew up in Milwaukee Wisconsin which as you know is not far from Oshkosh, so her videos of her trip to Oshkosh I have watched over and over again and again.
I can see your fun while starting and during flying. My daughters name is Alina also, but she's not a pilot. Anyway, I am a pilot for ultralight planes in Germany. Well done, go ahead. This was an adventure you will never forget. William, cool thing how you teached your daughter and let her fly.
Mr. Scott, as a father of 2 adult daughters I know how priceless Alina's smiles and giggles are, as well as her freedom to express the true character of who she really is. Thank you for sharing this precious gift. 😎👍🏻

Good eye, is right! Not only did I not see that until you pointed it out, but I watched the entire video and didn't notice she's using a yoke, not a stick! Geeze, I'm either getting lazy, old, or both! Ya, good eye.
Are you keeping a pilots log book for Alina William? Every flight she makes is more accreditation for her experience. Great being back up in the air even though I’m not flying this time, great to be ‘along’ on each trip. Enjoy every flight Alina.
After her flight to Airventure, did Alina then do a return flight back to SC at the end of the week or was the 103 broken down and trailered back. Just wondering because I fly a KOLB and the wings fold up fairly easy to trailer, and a friend flys the Aerolite 103 which seems to be a major breakdown to remove the wings. Just curious.
So exciting watching you. You make my heart race faster. I know you are still young but any plans for your future career? Air Force, Astronaut, Commercial Pilot, Engineer?
@@williamh.scottv438 I didn’t want to be presumptuous and say I can see her flying F 35s or whatever model they have then. She was obviously born to fly. Oh, by the way, was dad in the Air Force too?

@@paulvanobberghen Agreed - left-seat pilot, left hand on yoke, mic button on left part of yoke, right hand for throttle, etc. Alina has center-line seat, left hand throttle and left hand brake, I believe. Not trying to make this an issue -- just seems awkward.😐
Ok on all the flying stuff that I know nothing about but being your favorite keyboard lion I might suggest the use of “air deflecting sunglasses”, preventing a young lady from developing a receding hairline over time!

This is one amazing young lady, her dedication and commitment to detail, and yours, Dad, is an inspiration.......
I was waiting for Alina’s landing and the radio calls. Amazing young lady.

She regrets that the kitchen was a mess in that video.
Would love to be able to hear her radio calls and responses. NFlightcam cables would do the trick! Well done, Scotts!
Superbe vidéo.....Bravo à vous 👋👋👋je vous souhaite une belle continuation .

When your dad said he loved you. He also meant he trust you and he is proud of you. Mom I know this had to be hard on you. But how awesome.
Just after departure at 03:55 there is a cool sun shadow image of the plane in far lower left of screen ... superb,
Good catch! 🙂

We don't log her time but we do log the flights. If I were to guess she has about 100 hours at this point.

What kind of Radio are you using?
Muito bonito ver esta jovem voando aqui no Brasil a idade mínima para voar é de 18 anos para avião e 16 para planadores
Super 👏👍

We took it apart and trailered it home.
Way to go Alina

Maybe a silly question, but why is the mic mutton not on the right side of the yoke? Seems as if it might simplify operating some controls.
The radio is over there also ..and the ptt would have to go across to the other side

That’s where it usually located on most airplanes.

Your plane shows Ukrainian colors. That’s cool. Is this intentional ? Is there a connection ?

I appreciate the pilot back point of view, but honestly I want to see where the pilot is flying.
There are other videos on my channel that show that perspective.
