highly recommend these. they will feel odd at first, but having used various bambu hurls for 4 years now, an ash hurl feels weird. love how the bas kills the ball dead!
My 2 lads use these and they are fantastic. They are a lot more durable than ash . A lot more people seem to be using them now. There is a waiting list of about 2 months to get one.
Ya I’m after getting one myself. I got a bigger size though because I didn’t want to grow out of it too fast, I’m going back to buy one my size as there very good
Can not ever take me away from my Irish Ash Hurls. ^ Star Hurls Kilkenny ^ Nice Light Weight or Heavy weight ^ I prefer Light Weight and Get 2 Bands on it. • Your But of the Hurl is as Extremely important aswell as the Weight. Do you want a Narrow Luimneach Style. Cill Chainnigh , Corcaigh , Gaillimh , Tipp All have Different Styles. A Good Ash Hurl with 2 Bands & Size 32 will Cost you around €70
Bamboo hurleys are quiet heavy especially for young lads and the handles are quiet thick. This will slow down their striking speed and slow down their overall hurling speed. I’m not that impressed either with torpey hurleys tbh. All their hurleys now have a huge bas frying pan style again will contribute to a slower strike. Also torpeys don’t make odd sizes so if a boy or girl needs a 27 or 29 or 31 inch hurl you can’t get it at torpeys

The clash of the bamboo! Just doesn't have the same ring to it :-)

I'd love a bamboo hurl but the price now🥴🧐
These seem unreal but the only thing is the cost

I rather ash Hurleys my freind broke 3 bambú Hurleys in a row so they do break a lot
Way too expensive for a Hurley. You can get great handmade ones for as little as €20
yeah I just paid 50 altogether for a Brian Walsh with a band xl grip and a bag of sliotars
These don’t break and last 2 years plus
@@aidangrummell9203 You get what you pay for I guess. FYI my Paul Maher hurl is still going strong a year later. And I've paid €22 for it.
